The fan is smooth and the install is designed in such a way that one person can complete the install by themselves. What I don’t get is how much light is blocked by the opaque glass bottom cover. I replaced the included bulbs with the brightest bulbs I could find, but as soon as I put the cover on the room is back to looking like it’s lit with one iPhone flash. What a terrible waste of energy to effectively block over half the light for some reason. I do not recommend.

My husband installed the ceiling fan and put a receiver to use a remote control, the information about the different color cables was few difficult but at the end all was perfect, the movement was gone with the balance little squares and looks pretty at our dinning and the air circulation is very good.

Perfect fan for a small room. Flush mounted as well so no need to worry about the fan hanging too low. Finish of the matte silver is very appealing, and the reversible blades offered two nice complementary colors (a lighter wood tone and slightly darker wood tone). Worked perfect for my coastal/beach themed room. The fan was easy to assemble as well.

The Hunter Loki 36 inch integrated LED noble bronze ceiling fan with light kit is great for a 10 x 10 space and 8' / 9' ceiling. I only wish I would have gone with a little bigger than 36 in. The fan functionality is great. I think it might look a little small in terms of height to width ratio. Hunter fans are generally great quality and this one is no exception. I'm happy I'll be saving energy with this fan and it looks great as well. I prefer remote operation but pull chain is not a huge disadvantage. Reversible blades is a another great feature. LED light is excellent. Overall I really like this fan.

The Loki 36 in. Integrated LED Indoor Polished Nickel Ceiling Fan with Light Kit is a Hunter fan, which I find to be generally of high quality overall. The fan is small compared to most others, but it moves air very well and includes the LED lights. I was worried having 4 very short fan blades would decrease it's cooling ability, but I am really pleased at how well it works. It does look small compared to my other larger fans, but I do find it attractive. My one disappointment was the lights are not as bright as I would have liked. But it also is much more "green" than my old fan, so I will likely see some savings on my utility bills. I installed it myself, (Contact an electrician if you have any doubts). The instructions were well written. Though I definitely recommend installing the blades onto the motor unit BEFORE you hang it... It would be far more difficult to do this step it after it's hung, like the manual instructed. It appears to be balanced already. It came with two downrods which is fine for most ceilings bit you may need to buy a longer one if you have a ceiling with a strong pitch/slope.

I recently remodeled my kitchen and dining room. These caught my eye and I decided to buy 2 of them. They give a good amount of air with the fan being on a medium setting. The lighting is garbage (only downside) if they came out with a non-smoked light cover it would be a perfect buy. But it gives off little to no light.

Ceiling fan looks great. Exceptionally quiet and smooth. Only wish I had gotten one with a remote for ease of use.

Should have done my homework more on this one. The frosted globe only puts out a soft low light. I put in higher wattage bulbs with no improvement. Had an electrician install the light in my kitchen and even updated the wall dimmer. This light only lightens up a little and not to the full capacity of the dimmer. I have it in my kitchen and can barely see to cook. Because I paid for an install and threw out the box, I will keep it. But I have to buy a floor lamp to compensate. Keep in mind there are two long chains on this fan light. Also, the globe is tricky to twist open. Be careful not to let it fall out when replacing bulbs. On a good note, it is quiet and has a nice fan function with a modern look to it.

Good fan, but terrible light.

I purchased 2 LOKI w/LED light 36" fans - one was brushed nickel and the other was matte silver, both with light gray oak blades. I really like the simplicity of the design, and the fans were easy to install. I installed both on the same day and my wife and I have really enjoyed having them.

Perfect size for small room.

Perfect for smaller room. We placed this in my home office and it looks great, really moves the air and is quiet. We are purchasing one for my son’s bedroom next. Easy install.

This fan was exactly what we needed in my husband’s office. It moves air well and the light is bright enough to light the room well. Was easy to install and looks nice too.

It’s just ok, looks good but doesn’t move tons of air, light fixture just sits in place, no screws or other mechanism to secure it

I absolutely love this fan. It is stylish, quiet and compact. Just what I needed for my small dining area. The only drawback is that it has pull chains and no remote control. But I've gotten over it and now I love this fan. Just in time for summer! Makes such a great difference in our lives!

The size of light is to big for the size of the blades, and thus the room it is in.

We needed to replace a small fan over our kitchen sink that had stopped working. It was an old fan that originally didn’t have a light so I added a small one later. Didn’t give much light but was helpful. So, we looked around for a replacement fan which included better lighting and found this one but the reviews mostly were negative toward the light. I finally realized the way the light fixture is made, its obvious that most of the output will be focused nearly straight down. But for us, that’s exactly what we need. Installation wasn’t too bad but I probably should have assembled more of it before hanging. Now I have a very quiet fan with a big a-- light and a happy wife. Ant that the goal! One other thing, you need to change the bulbs to the daylight type, 5000k. Additionally, if you need to provide light to a hole room, especially if it’s a large one, purchase something that’s designed to do it, this one will not.

I bought this online. Looked sort of modern. The light is just too big for the unit. Looks odd, not cool.

The fan is excellent, but the light with even a 13W bulb only projects light downward. No other light attached is available to change the direction.

This fan was easy for my handyman to install, works and looks great in my bathroom. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is the light. I put in 2 60watt LED bulbs but it's not enough. I think the frosted dome is too much filter for the light to be nice and bright.

Light was far too dim for the small bedroom. Even replaced with brighter bulbs and still was too dim. Returned.

Quiet. Good-looking. Nice light.
