Nice looking and it’s a Hunter so it’s an awesome fan.

Installation was easy! Husband did a great job while I cheered him on! The fan is a beautiful addition to my newly remodeled master suite. The glob matches my custom drapes and bed bench. It pulls everything together beautifully for me. But most importantly, it’s a Hunter fan which means superb quality! Thank you Hunter Fans!

It was easy to assemble and the instructions was easy to follow. Works great.

The low profile ceiling fan is excellent. No noise is felt when it is working. It is built with quality materials. This is the third one that I bought for its good performance.

I like the ceiling fan, but didn't realize it's operates manually. I was replacing an older fan that has a wall switch to operate both the fan and light. I was able to buy a transmitter that will allow the fan to be reconfigured.

Photos on this website and the box from Hunter both show a downrod for this ceiling fan, indicated that's an option. Hunter has no option for the Newsome 53314 model so both Hunter and Home Depot are providing misleading information. Got this home and took it apart only to have to put it all back together and return it. Hunter verifies no downrod option available.

The Hunter was, by far, the easiest, most intelligently packaged and organized, ceiling fan I have ever installed. Clear, logical instructions that took all of the guesswork out of the installation.

I purchased this Hunter "Newsome" low profile fan/light to replace the Hunter fan in my bedroom. I got the "Fresh White" color and I just love it! It is very beautiful and the frosted globe makes it look elegant. The two lights provide good light for my size bedroom. All the hardware was conveniently labeled and the instructions were easy to follow. I laid out all the hardware and my son installed it in about 30 minutes with no trouble. My old fan was brown but this white fan makes my bedroom look fresh. Over the years I have had Hunter fans and I totally trust this company!

Fan is whisper quiet. Installed it without the light kit. Goes up easy. Excellent looks.

The fan was an easy installation, it’s quiet and the two led bulbs give off plenty of light. The only improvement I would like to have seen is the white bowl covering the bulbs sits a little bit lopsided. Not a huge deal but it could be better. Overall I’m pleased.
