Hey look, the fan that was taken down is a hunter, and it immediately was re-installed in one of the bedrooms. The previous fan was one of those, something that rhymes with ray! Nice looking but not in it for the long run! So I not only recommend this particular style of fan, but I’m really impressed with the brand. Buy a hunter and you end up looking for the sound, it’s not there. They run silent forever.

Highly disappointed in Hunter products after the glass bowl broke. There was no excessive pressure or force while screwing on the final part when the bowl broke. The part was very cheap. Got in touch with Hunter and they refuse to replace the bowl due to the way the damage is. The damage happened because their product is cheap. I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I do not recommend buying Hunter products at this point because they do not stand behind them when something happens.

based on the overwhelming 5 star reviews, you would think that this is a 5 star fan. It is not. There is a 2 star review that says it all. The motor is gutless, so don't expect 3 usable fan speeds. Well to be fare, you have the fan off, fan on high without the lights on, and you have the fan on high with the lights off. The globe that came with it was painted white on the inside. YES, youread that right, painted white! The white paint basically made the lights useless. Thankfully it came off with acetone. Once removed you have a frosted glass globe. So for the upside/pros side, the fan looks great! If you have rethis far, I am basically saying run from this fan. Find another fan to buy. I wish I would have bought the fan at the blue box store like normal, however the fan was on sale and had great reviews.

Bought this fan today (6/7/21) It was a tuff install (2 adults needed) After 1hr&half install, we were so disappointed with the fan speeds...In my opinion they may be defective speeds. Medium seems more like a slow low speed and the low setting rotates so slow that it looks like it's ready to stop at any time! REALLY BUMMED AFTER ALL THE INSTALLATION EFFORT... I would like to post video of low speed but not able on this format. Will be returning this fan to Home Depot and getting refund to my card.

We have been doing remodeling and finally decided on these fans (purchased two) for our great room. I looked around many sites at literally hundreds of fans for 2 to 3 months looking at blade size, maximum bulb wattage, colors, reviews, price, etc. The Stratford ended up being one of the best options at an extremely wonderful price as some of the fans I looked at were going to be $800 each. My husband did the installation and commented several times about the good quality of the craftsmanship. They have been perfect for our use and have been installed for two weeks. So far (even though not very long), they are so quiet you don't even realize there are fans in the room. I would highly recommend as they have exceeded my expectations!

Great ceiling fan, quiet, and uses a normal size bulb. However, I had to install three because of deffective wiring in two of them. Had this one not worked, I would’ve gone with another option. But would purchase the same fan again.

Easy install - Hunter mad this fan so easy to install compared to the Hunter it replaced. Took little action to balance.

Let me start by saying I like Hunter, the products look nice. However we are replacing our 2nd Hunter fan and we have only been in this house 3 years. I hope the longevity is better for this fan in particular. With that being said, install was easy and the fixture itself looks really good. It matches super well with our bedroom decor. Uses led bulbs for energy efficiency. Please see attached photos.

Great looking fan. The all-black look gave my office room the look I want and I love that the blades have a light grey reversible side if I want to change it up in the future. Both sides of the blades have a farmhouse vibe that ties in with much of the rest of my home. The black side looks subtly faux-worn which doesn't immediately catch your eye but gives it the desired over-all aesthetic and the grey side looks like aged/reclaimed wood. Installation wasn't difficult, everything is labeled with instructions that are simply written / easy to follow. but note that a *magnetic Philips screwdriver is your friend*. When attaching the canopy to the ceiling mount, one of the screws dropped into the top of the motor, so not once, but twice, I had to undo the wiring to remove the fan from the mount and flip it to shake the screw out because I didn't have my magnetic screwdriver. You may also need to use a flat-head to carefully guide the rubber grommets through the blade screw holes (see pic). The instructions cover both single and dual switch installation.The end result looks terrific and I have no problem with wobble. The only thing I might change is the bulbs that come with it from the warm white to a brighter bulb for office use. Loving it!

Hunter brand fans are top of the line. We have had several of the original fans in our home go bad and have replaced them with Hunter and haven’t been let down yet. One of the Hunter fans is at least 20 years old and it still going strong! This fan is just as good quality as the others. It’s a 52” 5 blade fan with a pull chain for the light and the fan. It has a white frosted globe that covers two very bright led bulbs that are included. It is very simple to put together and the only trouble I had was pushing the rubber grommets through the reversible fan blades(I have big fingers and am clumsy). Once you mount the bracket to the ceiling it’s a breeze to hang the fan and wire it up. The instructions were very clear as with all Hunter fans and installation was easy. We are very happy with performance of the fan and it’s so quiet you can’t even hear it run. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

This is a quality made and very attractive fan. Not the quickest installation I've done. It took almost twenty minutes just to put the blades together and attached to the main body. Overall about an hour to replace an old fan. Unlike most fans both sides of the blade actually have a nice look. Fan speed is a little weak, but in a smaller room it's not a big deal. Traditional look, goes with everything.

The Hunter Stratford 52 inch LED indoor matte black ceiling fan has made a nice addition to my sons room. The fan was easy to install and directions were easy to follow. It is whisper quiet and yet provides a powerful breeze. It has two pull chains for the fan and light. The blades are sturdy and the light is nice and bright. It also comes with two LED bulbs. Nice fan to brighten any room.

I love the look. Very different than the previous ones that i have bought. Not noisy. I bought 2 but one was wobbly but we placed the weights and now we can run the fastest speed. Everybody comments how nice they are. I really love my purchase indeed.

Have this fan and everyone love them makes my decor especially with the life proof sterling oak flooring

The fan turns in circles and the light illuminates the room. Unfortunately it doesn’t make tacos! ?. Hoping technology catches up some day so I can have them tacos. ?

I’ve always had good experiences with Hunter fans and this one didn’t disappoint me.

Quality fan. Easy to install.

Seemed nice enough at first but within the 1st year the speed control failed and now the fan only runs at the highest speed. I'd avoid this one.

It was not as easy to install as ghe box said. The product when turned on, it would take a while for fan to reach full speed. It was like it was winding it's self up

Globe was cracked. Hunter replaced it it timely fashion

Product looks good, hard to put together..some screws don't fit the holes intended..makes a humming noise unless the light is on..need 2 more for my house but won't buy this brand again..buy another brand for your home
