Good Miter Back Saw For Small Projects
This miter saw cuts wood and PVC trim well and is easy and comfortable to use and works OK with a Stanley plastic miter box.
The fine pitch teeth on the saw minimize tear out on when cutting trim and are sharp and aggressive enough to cut through trim boards easily and efficiently.
I originally bought a Stanley plastic miter box without a miter saw assuming that I could re-use an existing 12" long miter saw. Unfortunately the Stanley plastic miter box requires a minimum 14" long miter saw and a 12" long miter saw is too short to be unusable.
I bought this saw to use with a Stanley plastic miter box for small projects and for the limited amount of trim that I have to replace and work on.
