Harder to put together than the bigger on. Directions not easy to follow

I love these Husky 4-tier Heavy Duty Boltless Steel Garage Storage Shelving. They are definitely worth the price and can handle a lot of storage room.

Comes with 4 shelves but one the shelf brackets didn't have tabs to secure into the vertical support. Not only did it not have tabs but the rail to support the wire shelf was smashed down. This was a manufacturing defect and no quality control.

Easy to assemble and heavy support !

The shelf was easy to assemble with only a mallet. It is sturdy and well designed.

Great we love the sturdy shelves and already making life more organized. you do need a mallet (rubber)

I like the strength of the metal but wish the shelf connections were better. I think this will be a long lasting purchase.

I had previously purchased the Husky 77"-wide industrial duty shelves, and assumed these shelves from the same manufacturer would be the same quality, just smaller. Shame on me for not looking closer at the little image on my computer. The larger shelves (which are A-plus, 5-star) are braced with heavy C-channel steel. These smaller shelves have a lighter steel that's just a corner bracket, not C-channel. Also, the parts don't really fit together very well, particularly the post couplers. If you're handy with tools, you can figure it out. If you're not, you'll want your uncle or neighbor to help out, and just bake him some chocolate chip cookies to say thanks. Don't get me wrong, the shelves are pretty good and I won't return them. They're just not as good as their big brother.

At $169 you would think this unit would be built solid, it’s not. Mounting brackets are only little metal tabs. Tabs don’t fit tight and fall out of place each time you touch them. Shelf brackets bend easily are make putting the tabs into place. Junk, would love to take it back for a refund.

They really cheapest out with this new design. I had bought their silver one a couple years back or so, and it was smooth and the shelf connectors were nice and clean cylindrical in design. I just bought 2 of these and they rough, cheap black paint, instead.of cylinders they have these weird little flaps cut out of the same piece of metal that go down these weirdly cut square/triangular slots. They don't slide down easy at all, and I imagine it would be a pain to adjust them at all. Horrible

This item looks sturdy but once assembled, was not sturdy at all. Might work for very light storage but definitely wouldn’t trust it for anything else.

Easy to assemble and is sturdy. Very clean look and like the open mesh shelves.

The outer 4 posts are sturdy. The side, front and rear bars are somewhat sturdy. The issue is the tabs and ends. The tabs go into the slot and slide down. The tabs were bent in on mine and had to be bent back. Which a screwdriver fixed. The outer ends of the bars are thin and can bend far too easy.it’s not sturdy and over priced for what it is, avoid….

Was super easy to set up

I had previously bought six of these shelving units and was very satisfied with them. However, when I bought this last one, the way the shelves attached to the legs had been changed. I guess I missed the "boltless" in the title, but the box otherwise seemed identical to the other six shelving units I had recently purchased. The shelves of this unit will not stay attached to the legs. When I completed the assembly and hammered one shelf down a little more the whole assembled unit collapsed like a house of cards. Very frustrating. After trying several times I ended up doing the following: every time I put a side piece onto the leg I would hammer it down and in the opening insert a bolt, lock washer, and nut to prevent the shelf from becoming loose. You have to put the head of the bolt on the inside or the wire shelf will not fit onto the 4 supporting side panels. This leaves the ends of the bolts and the nuts on the outside sticking out. Not ideal. Of course this also took much time, and 32 bolts. I would have taken this back immediately and asked for a return of my money, but I had destroyed the box taking it apart. I expected this unit to be like the other six I had recently purchased. It was not. I would not suggest anyone buy this "boltless" shelving unit. A waste of time and money.

It took three of us to build this thing and is was horrid. The tabs didn't "slide" in like they should, would fall out if left unattended and took hours to figure out how to make it work! Once we got one up the other two were easier BUT I would have much preferred bolts and nuts to this system. The grids on the shelves are only good for stacking things with a fairly wide base, or they fall over because of the size of the grid. Not a happy customer.

Exactly what I need and at a good price

Good solid storage shelving, only 36 " width and easy assembly. The only negative was the price point, too $$ expensive for this size unit.

I was looking for a shelving unit with capacity enough for a big load of weight, and this fits very well. Actually I put four 12v AGM solar batteries in the bottom shelves and the shelving unit is holding perfectly. The batteries are way under the top weight by shelf of 1,000 pounds, and leave me space for other things. I'm very pleased with this unit!

Nice strong shelves. Easy to put together.

Bought two units. One clearly is inferior in quality to the other. Definitely, different manufacturing standards and specifications. Calling these units HEAVY DUTY is misleading. They are flimsy and not sturdy at all.
