This is a great tray to help organize your drive socket sets. The trays are steel construction with a protective coating. The bottom of the tray is a softer surface to prevent damage to the finish. The magnet is super strong so the sockets stay in place. You can put them in order of size and find what you need easily. Says it is for 1/4" but it can accommodate up to 5/8". You can Tray sticks tight in my metal tool cabinet and I have drawer liners. It is also handy to take to another work site in a tool bag.

The magnets are strong and this stays put. Some of the larger versions have a tendency to slide around.
These are great for keeping your sockets firm and in place. No more socket spilling and sorting to get everything back in place. Easily grab and take with you to your project.
The one is a little deep and can be hard to grab smaller sockets.
You can also use this for a variety of tools and bits.

A convenient way to organize one’s sockets and avoid possible loss or misplacement of sockets, this formed sheet metal tray, provided with a magnet to retain the sockets and secure it to any magnetic surface is easily stored in one’s tool box or brought to the work area. The upper lips of the tray are flared slightly, making it easy to grip and to insert the sockets to be stored. The powder coated finish appears to be durable and the no-mar surface of the magnetic base will protect the finish of the equipment or tool box to which it is attached to. Although intended for use with ¼ inch drive sockets, I found this useful for the smaller 3/8 inch drive deep sockets which are used frequently as well, to keep sockets from rolling around the floor when not in use.

I am using this organizer to hold my metric 1/4" drive sockets. I had been leaving them in the plastic tray that they came in but they were very hard to remove from the tray. My standard 1/4" drive sockets are in a different type holder that you can see in the picture.This old type holder is much bulkier and harder to store than this new guy. Another thing that I like is that the magnets on this holder are strong. I have taken advantage of this by placing the holder upside down on the botom od a vehicle that I am working on. Doing this enables me to avoid having to get out from under the car or bulldozer every time I need to change a socket.

Husky 6.8-inch Long Magnetic 1/4-inch Drive Deep Socket Tray is a great place to organize your small size deep sockets. I keep mine in my tool box where I also keep my larger socket sets. The others are on socket rails, but don't have a 1/4-inch size rail so they are loose in the bottom of the tool box. This Husky tray will finally be a place to keep them organized and secure. It is a sturdy metal tray, magnetized to have the sockets stay put, organized according to size. The magnet runs along the entire bottom of the tray.
I like the tray is all metal, others I saw for storing sockets were plastic with all kinds of colors and odd shapes. Although this tray is designed for deep sockets, it could handle regular sizes, too and they will just come up to the top of the tray side. Husky is noted for these handy items, simple and effective, glad I found it.
