This 6" storage bin is compatible with the Husky Build-out system, and it is a very strong and durable organizer. The silicon ring, 3 tight clasps and iron-pin hinges offer IP65 rating that would protect sensitive equipment, electronics, sensors from water and dust ingress. The design and build is very tight, with sufficient reinforcement all all loadbearing points and corners to withstand the occasional drops and being tossed around in a work van. All dividers are removable adding to a 6" x 5.5" area. In initial configuration, they are roughly 4" x 2.25". It's a great organizer and being watertight, it is a perfect companion not only in a work van but also in kayaking, as I have used it too.

This Husky Build-out box is particularly useful, or more like 2 of them - they fit perfectly in the Build-Out 22" modular rolling tool box with minimal rattle. Both have fully removable separating walls to provide about 116 cu.in of space. It is IP65 rated and with 4 clasps, metal-pin hinges and rubber seal all around, it makes for a hermetically sealed container, which is a necessity in some cases when you need to store sensitive equipment, electronics, sensors and similar. The box is very strong and although clear acrylic is prone to breakage, the thickness makes it very impact resistant and able to withstand occasional drops and being tossed around in a service van. Although a little bit pricier, quality is great and being able to use it in the Build-out system thus adding functionality and customizability to the system is just a great advantage.

I have the 4-in-1 Tool Box Set and love it. Have a bunch of Bins from different Manufacturers. They do not fit perfectly with this set. These fit snug sideway, or flat, in the Large Tool Box (see pic) and flat in the Tool Case (see pic). No bouncing around. No lost space. They have a gasket, and four Clasp, giving them a tight seal. The label was easy to remove; just peel slowly. They are totally clear, allowing me to see sides and bottom. Less digging through, hoping the find the right thing.

I had this little organizer put away but I have found a use for it, to organize my terminals for HVAC 👩🏻‍🔧🇺🇸!! Great buy, husky never really disappoints.

Had bought these in the past and they work well. Large label on lid removed easily to allow view of contents. Needed more so bought another one and after removing label there was a thick adhesive residue. Worked at it with Goof Off and was still left with clouds of smeared adhesive. Why would a company choose to use labels/adhesive that can not be removed cleanly? Some customers may not care and that’s fine but if you design a box with a clear lid and then save a few cents on a crappy label that leaves a mess you just lost this customer.

These bins are really durable. They been with me for past eight years. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Would highly recommended for storage.

I read a lot of negative reviews on how difficult it is to remove the sticker. The secret is to apply steam to the label for a couple of minutes and it comes off really easy. I used the Dupray steamer.

I bought this storage bin to hold my collection of lenses for my smartphone photography / videography. The compartments can be made larger by removing and redistributing the dividers. But they are the perfect size for my various lenses and clips plus some other accessories, as-is. I guess I really didn't need a waterproof storage container but it certainly can't hurt especially for the price. I'm planning to line many of the compartments with some soft material to cushion my lenses. This storage bin is precisely what I needed and then some.

I got this while on sale for $19.99 and for the price I'm quite happy with it. I was comparing this to the (2) HDX organizers for $20 but ultimately kept this one. I do agree with others that the plastic top is very flimsy and would probably not survive long being thrown in and out of trunks/ truck beds. The side with the removal bins is not really meant for small items because as others have pointed out small hardware can slip through the crevices in the cover and end up in other bins. I did a test with the same small items on the opposite side and they were fine minus a couple falling through.

I like it for wire nuts Phillips regular screwdriver tip bits anchors screws testors it keeps it all organized and together where I'm not going to lose it as water resistant.

This small bin is really well made and very handy to have because it protects whatever you put inside it from being damaged by liquids which might come in contact with it. I tested it to see if it really is waterproof. The three latches really secure the seal well. No water intrusion. I like that it is made with clear material so you cam see inside it without opening it. It has removal dividers so it can be configured for different sized items.

This is a small container, and good for small parts. It it well sealed, and the three locking clamps keep it tightly closed. It's almost too tight; after unlocking the clips, it can take some twisting and pulling to actually open the lid. It's good in that one knows the box is sealed, but it can make opening the box challenging. The adjustable dividers are nice and make the small box better for larger objects. It's a durable box; I bounced it across my driveway several times, closed, and it survived. There are several scratches on it the edges now, but the box did not break and the door still seals.

Great way to make sure medium sized cell phones, wallets, keys, etc stay dry while kayaking, canoeing, rafting, boating without having a cumbersome dry bag or flimsy plastic bag. It is hard to open the first time or after driving down from the mountains, due to differences in air pressure and the rubber seal. The sticker on the case is very difficult to remove. Great storage bin. This lost a star for me because it is small yet big enough that it could benefit from having a handle. I tested it out to see how well it can withstand water, and this did a great job. The first time I opened it, I struggled a bit. That is because it was sealed shut for so long that it had so much suction. I placed some toilet tissue inside of the organizer and placed this under a running faucet. The tissue was 99% dry. There was a little wet spot near the back but I am not sure if that occurred from the water sliding in once I opened the top off the way. There are 4 latches to lock the bin. The material is very durable and will protect the contents inside. Great for fasteners and small items. I would definitely recommend this product.

This parts organizer has one unfortunate problem: the product label was glued on to the lid with a very durable glue. It refused to peel off cleanly like the labels on most products. Fingernails hardly made a dent. Soaking in water did not help, nor did rubbing alcohol. I left the box underwater overnight and verified that it did not leak and finally was able to rub off the paper label with my fingers, but a semi-transparent film of glue remained on the box. It also resisted solvents. I found if I pressed hard with my thumbs I was able to roll bits of glue off the box. It took about 10 minutes to remove all the glue. I hope that later versions of this box use peel off labels like other Home Depot products. Otherwise it is an excellent storage bin that it would protect small parts against water damage in anything other than a sinking boat.

This is an extremely durable storage box. The plastic is very tough - it would take a ton of force to crack it. The rubber, waterproof seal is very tight. The three clips function easily and hold the lid down secure. There are 5 divider pieces (1 long and 4 small). They can all be completely removed or placed in different ways to give you different size compartments. Two small things I didn't like: It could use some kind of tab with a hole for attaching a cord or carabiner so you could attach the box to something. Also, the sticker on it was a pain to remove.

This clear plastic waterproof storage box is heavy duty and high quality. It has 3 latches that are easy to release and refasten, while holding the lid tightly closed against the gasket. The 6 compartments measure about 1.75" wide by 2.5" front to back by 1.75" deep. The compartments are configurable. The four front-to back dividers are removable so larger compartments can be created. The horizontal divider is also removable if one large 6" x 5.5" compartment is wanted. The paper label peeled off pretty easily and left minimal adhesive residue behind.

HUSKY 12-Inch Waterproof Storage Bin This small parts bin seemed like the perfect answer to neatly organizing the many types of wall anchors (see photo) that I have accumulated over the last several years and different projects—and it proved to be just that! I didn’t need to customize the size of any of the interior bins, but that is an option with this design. I really like the fact that this impact and scratch resistant polycarbonate is virtually crystal clear unlike some others I own that you need to lift the opaque lid to see their contents. I also wanted a container with a secure lid to keep the contents inside if it was accidently dropped. So this Husky bin with its four very secure “cam-over” lid-locks was just the answer to that requirement as well. So it can stand-on-end sideways in my tool bag (see photo) and not dump its contents all over. My only complaint, and reason for only 4 stars, is that the product’s large label’s adhesive is too aggressive; and resisted peeling the label off (see photo) with my finger nails until I heated up the bin in a sun-lit window.

I purchased this because it is designed to fit into my existing Build Out toolbox. I had gotten another smaller version of this bin a while back and liked it. I only gave a 4 star rating as I haven't used these 12-inch bins yet.

It serves it's purpose very well bought 2 because I liked the ability to rearrange the spaces, the see-through lid and the secure fasteners. However, this could have been 5 stars but I had to return one for exchange because the stick on ad would not come off

I am quite impressed with the Husky Tote and very interested in the larger 30 gallon size as well as getting them in the other colors, especially green as it would be something I’d purchase for each of our sales people to carry their material samples in.
