So far, very happy with my purchase. The size is great, although in hindsight I would have liked a few more deeper drawers. Pretty decent excuse for a secondary box... The drawers can hold an amazing amount of weight and it never feels unsettled or tippy. It arrived 99% assembled. Just attached the cord wrap, handle and drawer liners. I have a skidsteer to pull it off the trailer; but if you don't, I hope you have some friends that owe you a favor. The stainless one I purchased was wrapped with white adhesive sheeting to protect against scratches. Removing all of it was the the bulk of set up time. Mine had a dent on the left side but is concealed pretty well by the handle. I originally wanted the handle on the other side because I could run cords through it to the power strip, helping to keep the cords a little better organized. I would gladly accept a second handle should Home Depot feel it's warranted. Otherwise condition and shipping packaging was excellent. Having all swivel casters is really only gripes I can really come up with. If moving the box across the garage, it can get unwieldy and require more corrective motions than if one of the end sets were fixed. Overall, very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to step up their organization game. Although I do remember now why I got rid of our stainless steel fridge. Maybe if you're bothered by fingerprints, consider the black or something?

This is a very long box, and also very low. Toolbox arrived on a partial pallet making forklift unloading easy. Good protective packaging (cardboard and 1/2" foam) kept toolbox in good condition. The smooth closing drawers are amazing and unexpected at this price point. Box is assembled with plastic outer paint protection sandwiched between different parts of the box and not entirely removable, a little annoying. The 6 casters make lateral movement of the box easy but rolling on a very sloped surface is problematic. Precision to roll through single doors is possible at low speeds. Casters and brakes are lower quality but not terrible (to be expected for the price.). Box comes with nice precut "Husky" logo'd thin drawer foam liners. (Not deep enough for proper tool shadowing, but useable as a lower layer under other foam. Handle and powercord holders are easy to bolt on. Toolbox may suffer minor deformation around lower edges when rolled over curved sloped or very rough surfaces. Weld quality looks kinda sad, but holding ok so far. 'Wood' topper fits great looks awesome but isn't butcher block hard, more like teflon hardness...Dents easy. Love the stainless look, for the price a nice big box.

only fuss I have is the matte white finish is hard to keep clean and really collects dust and grime.

This tool storage workbench is exactly what I wanted. It even came with premium drawer liners! The tool drawers work great with the slow-close feature, and the wood top is strong enough to mount my vise. The adjustable height top is also awesome, as I prefer a taller working height.

Amazing value for the price. I chose this box because I am getting ready to do a big garage upgrade including new wall to wall garage cabinets which included a workbench with drawer units below it. Once I saw the breakdown of costs in that estimate I realized that drawer units and butcherblock tops are expensive and still wouldn't be as nice as a genuine toolbox. After some searching around online I identified this puppy. I had to go to several Home Depots to find one in stock to inspect and really was impressed with the quality for the price. The Matte White version was only available online so I ordered it for home delivery. Note that this box comes in two different thicknesses of steel depending on which color you choose. The Matte White is the thicker 19 gauge vs 21 gauge. My thought process was that instead of having a fixed workbench, with this I can just release the brakes and roll the whole thing to where I'm working like right out to the driveway to work on our motorhome. I did note while inspecting one at the store that even with it having 6 wheels it was a handful to roll around as it is almost 600 lbs empty. I also noticed at the store that Husky had a different model (63" vs 72") that actually had bigger 6" wheels vs the 5" wheels on this one. Guessing it's a newer model maybe, but with the 6" wheels the effort to move it around was day and night easier. I really wanted this bigger size and matte white color, and the roll up top wasn't available on the smaller one so I called Husky customer service and ordered 6 new 6" swivel/locking wheel and swapped them out as soon as I unpacked it. HUGE DIFFERENCE! Well worth the $125ish it cost. One more note about the wheels. The locking mechanism not only locks the wheels from rolling, it also locks them from swiveling. This is true of both the 5" and 6" wheels. So once you lock a couple of these, the box is as solid as if it were on feet. Since I knew I would need to push mine straight backwards into it's space between garage cabinets I bought all 6 new wheels with the locks to keep all my options open. The crank up top is cool. at age 68 I do find it taxing on my back to stand and work on something 39" off the floor for any long period of time. Being able to just turn the crank and bring the project a bit closer to me is a benefit to a feature I would have never dreamed would be available. It will come up a full foot higher if you wanted to. Takes about 50 full cranks to get it there though. Under the butch block top there is tray storage that goes the full width of the box so you can store really long items there. Sweet! As you can imagine, with 18 drawers that are all 24" deep there is tons of room for stuff. About 8 of them are very shallow though, so it took some experimenting with tool placements to best utilize all the drawers. It's not a Snap On box for sure, but at such a small fraction of that price it is solid, smooth and beautiful and surely will outlast me for use as a casual mechanic's box. I added a nice vise to the left front corner too.

The bad drawer liners are about 1/4 inch too narrow not a big deal, but I'm weird about that stuff. Excellent box constructed with heavy duty steel. The extra storage underneath the adjustable top is nice for tools that don't get used as much. I use a hex socket(don't remember the size of the top of my head) on my impact at a real low speed to lift the top much faster than using the hand crank. The description had it comes with two swivel wheels, but all six of mine are swivel. Lock wheels on each end. Check for keys before you leave the store. If they're locked inside like mine were you may be able to use a set off another display model to unlock. I went back to the store the next day we looked at the display non of the locks matched, so the employee did some leg work for me called me and told me what I needed to do. I contacted HUSKYTOOLS.com and they made and sent me a set. Even not being able to use it for a few weeks I would still recommend. Also recommend a heavy duty box over standard box any day. I used a trailer to pick up from the store. I would not recommend putting this in the back of a pickup unless you have machinery to lift it out

I purchased the 56 inch Husky tool box and this 1025 tool kit and a foam shadow kit from foam fit tools. Everything was great but was missing one 8mm midget wrench. I am highly OCD and having one missing wrench would drive me nuts. After reading reviews I was ready for a long fight to get the wrench as it is only included in this kit so I could not just buy the wrench. I called Home Depot and in 5 minutes had a very nice rep say they will send it right to me. I was skeptical. 5 days later I received the wrench along with another cool little 8 mm wrench made into a keychain. I have been very surprised (in a good way) by Home Depot’s service.

Nice weight, solid construction. If you have to move it a floor or two, call some buddies. Great product.

I bought this workbench for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. Everytime we went in to Home Depot he was looking it over. He likes the the fact that it has wheels on it where he can move it around and loves the easy closing drawers. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is shopping around for a workbench of their own.

LOTS OF STORAGE

Better than expected. Everything worked and it has solid craftsmanship. I got both matte blue boxes. The 72" and the tall 56" wide box. Love them.

Based on the item pictured, what color would you say that is? Gun metal grey? That's what I thought I was getting, something that resembled the picture, but don't be fooled by the picture. In the picture, the main body is visibly a different color than the black drawer lip, but in reality, they are not. If you just want a black tool chest then this product is fine, but if you expect it to look like the one pictured, look elsewhere.

I have had this workbench for a little over a month now, using it for my bicycle repair business. It's nice having so many drawers to help organize my tools, and being able to lock them up at night. I really like the soft close feature, helps keep the tools from getting tossed around. Also really appreciate the included mats for each drawer.

The issue I have with this box is the drawer depth of 3-6, 9-12, and 14-17. These drawers would be more beneficial if they were 1 inch deeper. You can't use wrench trays in 9 or 10 and I hate to pay for foam inserts. Drawers 3-6, 11-12, and 14-7 can't hold my impact tools, mallets, or medium size cases that keep specialty tools. I've had to keep a Matco sidecart for this reason. Other then that I love the box. The upper area allows me to keep large pry bars that no other box holds. Worth the money in my opinion.

I was excited to purchase this toolbox to have a place to store all my tools and organize my garage. Upon unpacking it at home I noticed the middle trim/accent piece is bowed! It's too long but whoever assembled it; installed it anyway. I know this isn't a Snap on high $ box, but come on Husky! Now I have to talk to Home depot to get it replaced and that would most likely involve me having to load it back up and haul it back and go through the same thing again. This thing weighs over 500lbs.!

This a nice tool box for the money. Here are a lot of drawers in a variety of sizes to fit tools of all sizes. It’s nice to have my tools organized.

Very large toolbox, holds all of my tools and feels very sturdy. This box has the same specs as my old classic series snapon toolbox except this box has self closing drawer slides which means you cannot slam these drawers and it has six swivel casters so it is very easy to move. The only thing I wish I could change is that when you lock the box it does not stop the top from raising so you can’t lock in the stuff that you store under the wood top. Otherwise this box is awesome and I would recommend it to everyone!

Well worth the money . I was in need of a large tool box and I fell in love with this box. The blue on black color and elevating top with storage under and soft close drawers, it's the best value I could find . Proud to be the owner of a fantastic tool box.

Yes, $1100 is a lot to pay for a tool box workbench but you get what you pay for. This is an item you will pass down to your children and grandchildren. Within 24hrs of receiving my first unit, I placed an order for another because the quality was so amazing. The adjustable workbench is so solid that I plan on attaching a vice to it. This unit comes amazingly well packaged on a custom pallet and encased in foam and cardboard. Just a word of advice, the bench is 600+ pounds of solid steel. To get it off the pallet and into your shop requires 4 strong men or a 2ton hydraulic lift if you plan on unpacking it solo.

Absolutely fantastic workbench! Impressive quality, 18 drawers give huge capacity, it’s beautiful and very practical! Also, the value is incomparable: I removed my custom-made Formica and pressboard, 8-drawer, wall-mounted workbench and replaced it with this fabulous workbench. In fact, a recent cost estimate for my custom workbench is over $3,000. This Husky workbench cost less than 1/3 the lesser-value custom workbench!

Killer tool box at a killer price! Bonus points for coming 99% assembled AND already having pre-cut drawer liners for every single drawer. It's so big it looks like I have very few tools, now I can fill it up. Wood top isn't super thick, but is sturdy enough for my purposes. Drawers pull out easily, caster brakes that actually work, what's not to like? I love the blue color cause it's different. It is a heavy duty unit. I have a small bench top lathe sitting on it.

This product replaced our pegboard tool storage system. It has plenty of drawers for sockets, hand tools as well as the hand power tools we own. The adjustable work surface allows comfortable project work height for myself and my wife. Even when loaded it is easy to move on the large pre-installed wheels, so cleaning around and under the workbench is straightforward. It arrived timely and in great condition. The only setup after unpacking was attaching a handle that was supplied. The included power strip makes multiple outlets available to us. I like that my tools are better organized and are not collecting dust as they did when stored on the pegboard.

This thing is the beast I’ve been waiting for. I do woodworking and with the Kaizen foam, everything fits great and the wheels are perfect

This chest is great!! Set up was super easy, plenty of storage and the wheels make moving this unit effortless.. I am just a DIY guy not a mechanic.. I have been a home owner now for 16 years and outgrew my first toolbox.. This was worth the investment to get a quality chest that holds all of my current tool collection and has plenty of room to add more tools down the road..
