Solid design. Easy to assemble. Replaced the adjustable foot pads with a set of Home Depot Everbilt 4-inch casters. (SKU 251390) Caster 7/16-14 thread is very close to foot pad M12-1.75 thread pattern. Insert until caster bearing cap contacts each leg. No jam nut required.

After building three wood benches for my basement and having all of them wobble around on the uneven cement floor, I got this table because it had adjustable legs and feet. Finally, a sturdy table that I can use to work on my projects. The table is heavy, 100+ pounds, but is very easy to put together. Between getting out the tools I needed, in addition to the ones included, and laying out the pieces, it took about a half hour to assemble. It's helpful to have two people around when getting the table up onto it's feet because you assemble it upside down and then have to turn it over. It's just big and awkward for one person. The adjustable leg height of the table is the highlight for me. I have mine set at waist height so I can work on smaller projects without having to bend over too much. Adjusting the height is very easy and is just a matter of moving the bolts on the legs. It also has adjustable feet to help with any uneven spots on the floor. The steel legs are wide and thick, unlike other tables, so they give the table top a good foundation to sit on. The width and length of the table gives you plenty of room to work. The wood top is pretty heavy and has a laminate feel to it. Not sure how that will stand up over time but it's not a concern of mine. It's about 1 1/4" thick. I've seen a few other workbenches available at other stores, but they're not as sturdy as this one. This is worth considering if you're looking for a decent workbench.

Been looking for a while and put off by price. It's a workbench after all, right? But pulled the trigger and happy I did. Really solid. Went together quickly. All holes aligned well. No cross threaded nuts. Very nice. Went with the casters TomG recommends. Perfect fit and make this workbench unbeatable. I see why folks use it inside. Not mine. It will work hard. Already is. Added a shelf along bottom rails. 1 inch pine works but pretty much maxed out on weight.

This thing is fairly heavy duty and well made. I appreciated how easily it went together. My solution for caster wheels was to mount the retractable type casters to the outside of the legs. I used 4, 1/4" rivet nuts and bolts on each leg.

I purchased 2 of these 1 month ago, along with a Husky tool cabinet, to use as a stand-up work station in my office. They were cheaper than buying an actual stand-up desk and were preferable because i consider them modular. These excede my expectations and im glad i purchased them.

Super sturdy work bench. Built very well and went together in about 45 min to an hour. The top is so nice you will not want to mar it when you are working on a project. It is nice enough to have in your office. You can adjust the height to what you like and also has leg adjusters to level the bench if needed. I mounted a 5" shop vise on one end with no problems, Just make sure you measure so you clear all metal supports and flanges before you drill your holes. Very happy with this work bench.

  • Super solid workbench!

This is a very nice quality workbench that allows me to utilize my garage closet as a hide-away work space! The table is very nice, heavy and well-made. Assembly probably took around 30 minutes and instructions were very clear. I was able to do it completely by myself, building it in a closet instead of upside down like the instructions show, so this is very much a one person job. The workbench is finished in a nice high gloss black paint (including some of the hardware) and wood is finished and sealed to keep it protected. The height adjustable legs with rubber feet are a very nice feature and allow you to completely address uneven concrete floors. The adjustable mid section is very solid as well, requiring four beefy screws to be removed to raise or lower. Cable management can be had using the top rail in the back (almost has a shelf that you can stow wires in). Overall, this table provides ample space to work on any project, provides a great platform to organize off of and just looks and works great! Highly recommend!

This workbench exceeds my expectations in every way. It looks great, is rock solid and sturdy, and is extremely easy to assemble. I have no doubt that it will last a lifetime . . . mine and beyond. We purchased it for our laundry room but will very likely get another one for the garage. My local Home Depot store had one on a shelf that was in an unopened, undamaged carton. This was very important to me. No one appreciates buying a heavy and large item and then discovering when you get it home and unpacked that there are damaged or missing parts. A Home Depot helper named Alex helped me load the box onto a cart and into my truck. But of course I was on my own at home. This wasn't a problem as I simply unboxed the parts outside and carried them in one at a time to my assembly area, AKA "family room." The packaging from the factory is quite impressive. All the pieces are fully protected from scratching or any other type of damage by cardboard and/or Styrofoam. Assembling the workbench is easy and straightforward with one exception: you must pay careful attention to the orientation of the Upper Supporting Frames (upper legs) when attaching them to the bottom of the wood top. Although they appear symmetrical, there is a front and a back to each one. The back of the leg will be flush with the back of the wood top when you do this step correctly. If it isn't, rotate the leg before screwing it down to align the correct side with the top's back edge. Not doing this step correctly will prevent you from completely mounting the front and back stiffeners to the bench.

  • Solid Work Bench!
  • July 19, 2016
  • Verified Purchase & Recommended Product

I picked up this bench based on other ratings and reviews. It was as described, and arrived within 4 days of placing my order. It is, as others have noted, heavy. I got it into the garage while still boxed, but to get it to another room required carrying it down in parts. It assembles fairly easy, and the directions are very straightforward. There were no gotchas where I ended up putting something on backwards and then had to take it apart again. Assembly probably took all of 15 minutes and I did it by myself. The bench can be adjusted vertically by bolting the feet section at different heights. All 4 ends have leveling feet as well, giving you the option of using those to change the level, as well as to ensure the bench is level on whatever surface you choose to place it upon. This bench is very sturdy. Like two adult males standing on top of it jumping up and down sturdy. I'm very happy with it and will probably buy another to expand my work space in my workshop.

The quality of this product is exceptional. You would need to anchor the table when you have it extended to it's highest setting - it can tip with pressure applied to the front. I bought 2 tables and fixed them together from the underside. Works well as a standing meeting table...
