Very satisfied with the box and tools. Every tool listed came as listed. Seems to be great quality. Pre fit mats or draw liners are great. Rolls great. If I had to ask for something more I’d ask for organizers for sockets and wrenches, but purchased that elesewhere. GREAT set for the price!!!

Great product - terrible delivery experience
First attempeted delivery was canceled as the workbench was damaged. The 2nd arrived a week later after several calls to Home Depot. Driver said he could not speak english and left the unit on its side with all the drawers face down then left! The unit is so heavy there was no way I could lift it up without getting help from a willing neighbor. Very disappointed Home Depot are using “US Pack Logistics” as they are trult terrible!!

    Big Red
My old tool box and work bench were about 40 years old. The old style with just sliders to open and close the draws. I felt it was time to upgrade and treat myself to a new set. I search on line for months but kept on coming back to the Husky 72". The amount of draws and the size of the toolbox was just what I needed. 95% of everything I had between the old tool box and the work bench fitted in my new 72" work/ bench tool box. I am 100% satisfied with it. Thanks Home Depot, thanks Husky.

Good, solid work bench with plenty of storage
So far so good. All the drawers work fine and the bench seems pretty sturdy. Im currently rebuilding a small engine on it and it seems to be holding up OK. I plan to install a 5" vice and we'll see how that works out

      Nice set of tools
Would give this 5 stars, but it was missing the 12pt 10mm regular socket. Only reason I figured this out is that I bought a foam insert for the tool chest and the only socket missing was the 3/8 regular 12 pt 10 mm socket

Overall a very good value despite problems. I have had the set for about a week now and have inventoried it but not had the chance to put it to use yet. I was not missing anything except an 11/16" shallow 6-point impact socket. I was able to get a new one in-store. A few of the wrenches did not ratchet smoothly. One was unable to ratchet at all but again I was able to get it warrantied in-store. A note about in store warranties though, as others have pointed out, is that at first they wanted me to return the whole set so they can order a new one. Which of course would most likely also have a couple items requiring warranty, so this line of thinking is ridiculous. It would be a never ending return process. I would recommend trying to warranty online if they give you a hassle in store. Another reviewer mentioned the quality of the sockets. Specifically that some of them were not chromed inside. I noticed this as well, but also that many sockets differ in manufacturing. I suspect that sockets are made at several manufacturers that make them differently. Some sockets have round bases inside, some have square. Some sockets are finished inside, some are not. Some sockets have flutes going deep into the socket, some only have them at the very top of the socket, despite it being deepwell. And these are all sockets that belong together, so they should all be manufactured the same. I'm happy with the product overall and I like how comprehensive it is, but would like to see some improved quality control. Make sure you have a way to organize your sockets because there is not much included as far as organization goes.

          TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT!
only fuss I have is the matte white finish is hard to keep clean and really collects dust and grime.

This tool storage workbench is exactly what I wanted. It even came with premium drawer liners! The tool drawers work great with the slow-close feature, and the wood top is strong enough to mount my vise. The adjustable height top is also awesome, as I prefer a taller working height.

Amazing value for the price. I chose this box because I am getting ready to do a big garage upgrade including new wall to wall garage cabinets which included a workbench with drawer units below it. Once I saw the breakdown of costs in that estimate I realized that drawer units and butcherblock tops are expensive and still wouldn't be as nice as a genuine toolbox. After some searching around online I identified this puppy. I had to go to several Home Depots to find one in stock to inspect and really was impressed with the quality for the price. The Matte White version was only available online so I ordered it for home delivery. Note that this box comes in two different thicknesses of steel depending on which color you choose. The Matte White is the thicker 19 gauge vs 21 gauge. My thought process was that instead of having a fixed workbench, with this I can just release the brakes and roll the whole thing to where I'm working like right out to the driveway to work on our motorhome. I did note while inspecting one at the store that even with it having 6 wheels it was a handful to roll around as it is almost 600 lbs empty. I also noticed at the store that Husky had a different model (63" vs 72") that actually had bigger 6" wheels vs the 5" wheels on this one. Guessing it's a newer model maybe, but with the 6" wheels the effort to move it around was day and night easier. I really wanted this bigger size and matte white color, and the roll up top wasn't available on the smaller one so I called Husky customer service and ordered 6 new 6" swivel/locking wheel and swapped them out as soon as I unpacked it. HUGE DIFFERENCE! Well worth the $125ish it cost. One more note about the wheels. The locking mechanism not only locks the wheels from rolling, it also locks them from swiveling. This is true of both the 5" and 6" wheels. So once you lock a couple of these, the box is as solid as if it were on feet. Since I knew I would need to push mine straight backwards into it's space between garage cabinets I bought all 6 new wheels with the locks to keep all my options open. The crank up top is cool. at age 68 I do find it taxing on my back to stand and work on something 39" off the floor for any long period of time. Being able to just turn the crank and bring the project a bit closer to me is a benefit to a feature I would have never dreamed would be available. It will come up a full foot higher if you wanted to. Takes about 50 full cranks to get it there though. Under the butch block top there is tray storage that goes the full width of the box so you can store really long items there. Sweet! As you can imagine, with 18 drawers that are all 24" deep there is tons of room for stuff. About 8 of them are very shallow though, so it took some experimenting with tool placements to best utilize all the drawers. It's not a Snap On box for sure, but at such a small fraction of that price it is solid, smooth and beautiful and surely will outlast me for use as a casual mechanic's box. I added a nice vise to the left front corner too.

              Great tool kit
I purchased the 56 inch Husky tool box and this 1025 tool kit and a foam shadow kit from foam fit tools. Everything was great but was missing one 8mm midget wrench. I am highly OCD and having one missing wrench would drive me nuts. After reading reviews I was ready for a long fight to get the wrench as it is only included in this kit so I could not just buy the wrench. I called Home Depot and in 5 minutes had a very nice rep say they will send it right to me. I was skeptical. 5 days later I received the wrench along with another cool little 8 mm wrench made into a keychain. I have been very surprised (in a good way) by Home Depot’s service.

The Husky 505 piece mechanics tool set has everything one would need for a home mechanic upto an entry-level mechanic job. This set does not have any impact rated items. This set is full of features like the 72 tooth rachet that only needs 5 degrees arc swing to move to the next tooth. This set has 88 pieces of 1/4" drive, 149 pieces of 3/8" drive and 58 pieces of 1/2" drive. Also included are 210 other tools from box end wrenches, socket drive extensions to regular screw drivers (that have magnetic tips). All of the tools, from ratchets to the screw drivers feel good in your hand. The tools also have a solid feel and weight to the tools to last, but not too heavy to tire your muscles. One complaint is the marking on the sockets, while the font is large, the stamp is not that deep and at certain angles is hard to read what the size is. This set does not come with a carry case, it would be too heavy( the shipping weight stated 80lbs) so you will want to invest in a rolling tool box with drawers to keep things organized. I love and recommend this set. As always being Husky it has a lifetime warranty.

The Husky Mechanics Tool Set that I got is excellent quality and is the most complete tool set that I've ever got. I have always purchased Craftsman, but this tool set is every bit as good, (if not better). The tool rolls that I have the SAE and Metric wrenches in does not come with the tool set, (I purchased them separately). I really like this tool set and I absolutely would recommend it to everyone. I would also like to recommend it as a gift, (Christmas is just around the corner).

I have to say, I was fairly impressed when I first saw the Mechanics Tool Set (505-Piece) by Husky online for the incredible price and even more impressed when I opened the box. When buying tools weather you're a home owner or a mechanic, everyone knows buying tools one at a time can get expensive. Now I can get into everything that this set contains, but I'll just say it contains every possible tool, extra attachment and any other extra you will ever need for any job big or small and then some. Each piece of the set comes with a lifetime warranty, but I can say you'll more than likely never need to use it because I'll just say why with one word, "HUSKY".

                  Great assortment, terrible markings
Good assortment of tools, not a lot of garbage filler aside from some ridiculously tiny wrenches. Convenient adds like some Torx sockets that might be overlooked assembling a set piecemeal. I've owned Husky mechanics tools since they first came out, have had good experience with occasional warranty returns - if the store sells the individual part like a single cracked socket it's as easy as Sears was back in the day. I recently bought a new house with a garage, grabbed a large chest, and decided to fill it up with a new set rather than trying to build on the smaller sets I've kept for years in my cars. This fit the bill and just about filled up my new box (added screwdrivers, pliers, and a few other things) with everything I'm likely to need aside from some vehicle-specific specialty things I already have. Only complaints - the markings on this set are MISERABLE, my photo doesn't do justice to how hard they are to see with the naked eye, and it really would have been nice to get some socket and wrench racks because the set was designed to fill up a box. Maybe some ball ends on the long hex keys would have been nice, I'll probably swap out my better Bondhus Allen keys and keep the ones with this kit in my travel box.

The Husky Mechanics Tool Set contains a total of 505 pieces. There is no case, but with this many tools and as heavy as they are, you will want to invest into a rolling tool box with drawers. The tools come in a single carton weighing in excess of 65 pounds. The carton has 4 inner boxes, but two of them exceed 25 pounds each so take along a strong person to help move them. There is an impressive assortment of master mechanic tools containing both SAE and Metric sizes. The ratchet drives only require 5 degrees of swing to tighten or loosen sockets. The kit includes the most popular (common) sizes of sockets, end wrenches, and hex keys. The ratchet/socket sets are 1/4", 3/8”, and 1/2" drives and provide impressive sets of both short and long, 6-point and 12-point sockets. The kit also includes 15 screwdrivers of various sizes and an assortment of drive adaptors for the sockets. Husky provides a lifetime warranty – if your Husky hand tool ever fails, take it back to Home Depot for a free exchange. This set should be all you need to work on any mechanical project. Packaged in the USA with components made in Taiwan and China.

                    Awesome box!
Very large toolbox, holds all of my tools and feels very sturdy. This box has the same specs as my old classic series snapon toolbox except this box has self closing drawer slides which means you cannot slam these drawers and it has six swivel casters so it is very easy to move. The only thing I wish I could change is that when you lock the box it does not stop the top from raising so you can’t lock in the stuff that you store under the wood top. Otherwise this box is awesome and I would recommend it to everyone!

Received used set. - H432MTSPO This is outrageous. Nothing went well with this order. The first time they cancelled the order without any explanation. I had to wait for the mechanic set to come back in stock. Now that I received it, when I open the box I am shocked to see that either this whole set was used or was returned. Bags were torn spilling all the sockets, disgusting smudges on the tools, scratches and finger prints all over the pieces. Home Depot please show some respect to your profession. Now I am afraid for any missing pieces and will have to sit and count for all the 432 pieces. Quality of service with this order is out the window.

Buyer beware on these. The warranty is not what is written (for the mechanics sets specifically)
I purchased the set at the beginning of this year (2020) and it came in a few weeks later because of the fall out from holiday lead times. Not a huge deal, I was thrilled to have a full tool set. I've been lightly using the set for about 4 months now (I work in an office for a construction company but I am a hobby machinist) well after probably the 20th or so use the mechanisms in the flexible ratchets started getting funky and the 1/2" completely freezes up. i bring it to the store and they say they can't do the exchange because they don't have flex ratchets. I drive to the larger store and find out that no HD carry the flex ratchets. This is not a no hassle warranty like the Craftsman was, you cannot bring it back to the store (like the warranty sheet says) and get a replacement, or even have an employee handle the replacement. You have to call the number on the card which does not take you to Home depot or Husky, but rather Apex, and they have to look up what you need and ship it to you. Not for nothing, but I bought this set because of what it says right on the page (see the photos) it is entirely untrue. the stores only care about obtaining proof of purchase and can't help you anyway, and there is nowhere to "just bring it back and we will replace it free of charge". It says it 2x in the specs section "Lifetime warranty with no questions, no receipt required". It does not say do not bring it to our stores because we dont carry or handle warranty concerns, or call our number to talk to the manufacturer that made it for Husky, who made it for Home depot... If you want a cheap set of tools, sure grab them. But if you need somewhat reliable tools with a great support and warranty system that replaces them promptly if they should fail? Then I'd look elsewhere. That is what I bought them for, and they have failed to meet the expectation at all. If nothing else they need to rewrite the entire warranty card and say not to bring them to a store unless you can prove you were the original purchaser, and you know they stock it at that particular location. (which the mechanics sets, they do not) I am deeply disappointed in the entire experience.
