I like the idea of using bags and having a plant be movable. I have used fabric pots and like how much oxygen the roots get. I'm curious how these bags will perform long term. What is nice is they are thick and you can lift by the edges with out it stretching and flexing badly. It didn't puncture easily and was pretty stable when soil was added. I like the variety of sizes in this pack, very handy for a variety of plants. I'm going to try container tomatoes.

I have the Hydro Crunch grow plastic bags for two weeks now, they really look good. They came in three different sizes 3 gallons, 5 gallons and 7 gallons. They are white on the outside and black on the inside with holes all around the bottom to help with drainage. I just started planting in them and I will watch to see the result since I never used bags for planting.

So I am pretty new to using these type of products. I have always been more of a planter or pot type person. However I have been seeing more and more of these type of products so I decided to give them a try. I got the Hydro Crunch black and white PE grow bag set for a few reasons. First of all I liked that they came in a variety of sizes so I can try different types of plants, vegetables etc. in them. The set includes five each of three, five, and seven gallon sizes. So this makes it easier to pick one on the fly when you aren’t sure which you will need ahead of time. It doesn’t take up any space really to store these. I also like that when I am ready to transplant something I have the option of just easily cutting them off once they are in the hole. Also with the black and white layers it helps control the heat so the roots do not just sit there and cook. I also like all the drainage holes that keep it from having too much water in there. At this price point I think they are a great alternative and if I end up cutting a few I do not feel like I am wasting a ton of money.

Hydro Crunch 3 Gal., 5 Gal., 7 Gal. Variety Size Black and White PE Plastic Grow Bag Set are very useful if you are a DIY Gardner. I like to start my seeds or plants in pots prior to planting in my small little makeshift greenhouse. I normally utilize the hard plastic pots, however when removing your plants to place in your garden you could damage the roots of the plant or the container getting it out the pot. With these you can just take a razor slit them break up the root ball and plant. I would recommend these pliable grow bags to all who like to garden.

I like how these bags' sides roll down and stay in place as you fill them. I put in about 4 inches of soil then planted tomato vine seedlings. As they grows, I will roll up the bags and fill them with more soil until the plant is growing out of a full bag with strong roots to the bottom. (I also planted potatoes in some and will use the same process) And because these bags roll down and stay in place, it allows light to reach the plant while it's still small. The cloth bags just fold inward and over the seedling. (See pics) Right now, I really can't tell you how they will do over the long run because I dont know how well they will breathe and release water. The bags do have several holes around the outside and 2 on the bottom for drainage but I'd need to use them for a season to see how the plants do in them. They are made of 2 layers of thick plastic and I like the reflective white on the outside, the warm black on the inside. I don't know how many seasons these bags will last. The HD details page doesn't say. I suppose, if you empty and clean them, then dry them well before storing, they could probably last years. The cloth bags last 3-5 years with care. These might too. These bags aren't as expensive as the cloth bags so that's a plus.

These planter bags are great! Not quite as heavy as others I've used, but will work well for almost any plant. You just unfold, refold and fill with soil. Easy peasy. They're square so they'll fit in a lot of box planters and great for transport, too. Good sized drainage holes in the bottom and lower part of the sides. I'm thinking the large size will be great for potatoes since you can continue to add soil because the bag is so high.

These grow bags are an excellent alternative to pots for growing seedlings into plants. They come in three sizes 5-Small 3gal, 5-Medium 5gal, and 5-Large 7gal. Each have pre-punched holes to allow for adequate drainage. These bags are not biodegradable, so do not plant in ground. I used these bags to plant seedlings for Basil, Cilantro, Oregano, Carrots, Parsley and Dark Basil. The bags accepted the soil without any falling through the holes or ripping. Following planting, I drenched the soil usage drip irrigation. The manufacturer states that the PE plastic is UV resistant and reflects the sun's light back to the plants as well as keeps roots cooler behind the black interior. There is a 90-day return policy.

Good quality bags for seed starting, transplanting, and tree growing. These come with pre-made watering seep holes so that plants and trees that you put in here Don’t get overwatered. They are a good size for seed starters or even better for transplanting trees and starting tree seeds as the bags are more deep than they are wideallowing for deeper root growth. The big advantage these have over pots is that when you are ready for transplanting into the ground or garde, these bags are very easily cut open with scissors.

Bags for plants a great replacement to expense planter pots. Made with 3 mil plastic and a vibrant white exterior color to disípate hot and black on the inside to warm up the soil and to prevent the algae formation. At the bottom and around 2” high the bags comes with holes for draining the water excess. This bags are made in different sizes 3gal, 5gal, and 7gallons. The plastic is resistant to handle and easy to use. Great quality and shape when they are filled with soil and plants.

I was just a bit skeptical about these plastic containers, I saw them more like liners.a picture is worth a thousand words it is said that's why I included a photograph with a cutting in one of the containers standing proudly on its own. The description of the containers states that the plastic is white on the outside and black inside so that the white side will reflect light that may heat the contents. Should your preference be the opposite just invert the bag. Note the hem I folded on top, this helps hold the bag open while filling I show one picture of 15 bags folded in the fore ground and another picture with a 20 container pile. If storage space is tight , these bags are the answer
