Moisture meter does not work.

One setting doesn’t seem to work.

Nothing works except the light meter. Well, I guess the moisture meter kind of does. Also, there were basically no instructions except "clean it when you're done." But the ph meter definitely doesn't work.

Makes keeping plants healthy very easy.

The Gage dos not work properly

No matter how wet the soil is, the meter reads dry. Needle barely moves

My soil meter is HEAVEN SENT!!!! I NOW have a much BETTER idea as to how to care for my houseplants. I LOVE IT. Besides the plant itself, for the assistance in the care of it...BEST purchase EVER!!!!!!

Checking soil in different areas the meter works well. Need to wipe the probes off each time.

Helps me know when potted soil is dry. For potted citrus tree, it helps me know the soil ph.

Does exactly what I need it to do. Seems pretty durable unlike others I’ve used in the past. Good value.

I had been over watering my plants and they were turning yellow so I watered them more (DAH). The cruncher straightened me out. Very Good.

Worked to my expectations.

Not sure exactly how accurate the moisture reading is, but I’m working with it. It reacts when placed in the soil.

The jury is still out on this one. All of the resting I’ve done seems to give the same results. So it either doesn’t work, or I am a very consistent gardener.

Keep shopping. This thing can't even correctly measure the PH of vinegar in a cup. And as to measuring moisture? I plugged it into a 10-gallon container I had just added a gallon of water to and it registered dry. It will measure light, as long as it isn't in shade of any kind.

It was very easy to use and very easy to clean. The readouts of the moisture and the pH we're very clear. Just be very careful when you insert it in the soil don't push it down in the soil if you hit a hard spot take it out and put it in another area of the soil. I definitely recommend this for any gardener that doesn't want to over water their plants.

If the pH test did work, it didn't work for very long. I've measured 5-10% vinegar solution many times which is supposed to be 2.5, but it always told me around 4 or higher. Pretty sure I over acidified a couple plants because of this.

PH is off, reads of 5 with vinegar -

Moisture and light sensors work well enough, though moisture reading slowly falls if you leave it in the soil for a few seconds. pH seems to be nonfunctional on my device. The needle will jump when put into that mode, but shows alkaline for everything including when deeply inserted into a large lemon.

This meter works ok for moisture but it's garbage for pH. I tried in different potted soil and it always shows alkaline - even for hydrangeas where I have added additional fertilizer to increase acidity. I tried it for plain water and for water with vinegar - again no change from alkaline. Complete waste of money.

Somewhat does what it says.. very unreliable..
