Exceeded my expectations, and I expect a quality product that is built and will last. It is surprisingly built strong and will have no problem lasting. The brass housing was heavier than the cheap junk that is commonly found nowadays, and the glass bowl was strong as well. Extra o-ring included along with a removal wrench. Nice to have the combination 1" and 3/4" options for connections. Would buy again

Awesome product, bought the 200 micron, turned out to be too big for the sediment in my well. Francis in customer service send me the 100 micron replacement right away and it’s been working great.

Product installed on a surface water collection system in an off-grid location. Works well! Easy to flush and clean the screen, provided that shut-off valves are installed on both sides of the filter. Customer support from iSpring is top notch; Nick helped us order replacement spare parts and filters. I recommend this product.

The 1000 micron filter was exactly what I needed for my ditch water irrigation system. It helped trap all the gunk coming from the creek before getting to my sprinkler system. Our irrigation canal is quite dirty, so cleaning out the filter once a day was perfect to keep three impact sprinklers going 24/7 in our pastures. The problem is the filter housing is now leaking after 1 month, meaning pressure is too low to run anything more than one impact at a time, defeating the purpose of the filter.

I bought a 50 micron spin down filter , had pressure drop issues and Nick knew immediately what our problem was. Very helpful and knowledgeable

After a lot of on-line research, we decided on iSpring's Spin Down and Whole House Sediment & Carbon Block filters. Unfortunately when the plumber installed it, we had almost no water pressure. The plumber was stumped. I emailed iSpring and Nick quickly responded. Via emails and calls he troubleshot the problem, quickly shipping us 2 additional filters (100 & 200) for the Spin Down free of charge. It worked! Our water never tasted better. Thanks Nick!

Too small. Didn't work for us.

I bought this to use on the well system in our house. Our well pumps 7 gallons per minute and this thing keeps up no problem. It also doesn't impede any water flow to the faucets so you don't even know its there. Grab a quick bucket to empty the filter and bam, you are done! Buy this with confidence.

I purchased this Spin Down Filter with 100micron screen but with fine sediment from our well, the screen clogged quickly and was unable to clean all of it out. I spoke with Sean at ISPRING and he suggested going with a 200micron and would quickly send it out free of charge.

I had to replace my water softener and decided to add a filter. This is a good filter. However, I noticed water pressure drop and had to constantly clean it. The plumber that installed it said the body is soft (brass) compared to copper when connecting and there is a small leak. Plumber said he would return to fix the leak. Contacted support regarding pressure drop issue. Nick was very helpful and sent larger filters to help with my water pressure drop issue.

Great filter and also a seeing the improvements of water quality

The filter itself is effective. However, if you have very hard water such as ours is, the filter has to be cleaned twice daily. Otherwise it stops up the entire system.

Definitely filtering sediment as expected. Bowl screws on nicely and has an o-ring -- just assembled it is supplied and works fine. Threads on body were cut nicely, sealed right up with no difficulty and a little ptfe pipe dope. Seems to be very well made. I did not use the support bracket which is more of a hanger (probably for use with flexible lines), instead it is supported by the pipes connected to it... very solid. I would completely recommend this over the plastic body versions, don't even bother with those.

Works well as advertised

I purchased the iSpring WSP50 in December 2018 because I am on a well with iron and sediment. I wanted a prefilter so that my treatment system doesn’t have to be serviced so often. This filter does a fantastic job of filtering out a lot of junk from the system before receiving treatment! When I eventually needed a replacement filter I called iSpring support phone number on their website, and talked to Nick, the same guy that helped me over 4 years ago! He helped me with exactly what I needed!

The customer service from Ispring was exceptional! John listened to remedied my issue in a very timely manner. Thanks, John!

Very fast delivery from Home Depot and reasonable price. The filter housing it self unfortunately not the best quality. The relief valve worn out to fast from the sediment. Last about 2 years at best. This is the third in five years.

No, did not hold up to warm water temperature.

Well built; easy to install. Can't find a replacement filter, though.

We find the iSpring spin down to be a perfect addition to our overall iSpring large filters for perfect water.

First, the filter works. It’s simple to install and well-built. I purchased this filter after already purchasing a competitors’ more “advanced” model. The iSpring filter wins for simplicity, quality, and it just plain does what it says it does. The icing on the cake is that the iSpring support team, namely Nick, was helpful and patient before and after my purchase. I recommend the product and company.

I purchased the unit with a 50 micron filter. It worked great for a year then started plugging. As luck would have it I could not find the special wrench needed to unscrew the filter housing. Sean at ispring got me a replacement wrench very promptly. The plugging got worse. Had to clean monthly then it got to the point that I had to clean every 2 weeks. So I spoke with Nick. He listened to my problem and came up with solution of either a 100 or 200 micron filter replacement. Fantastic

The ispring filter(including the whole house filter) does exactly what it needs to do! Filters our water and takes out the sediment and unwanted guests. We have a serious iron problem and have done everything in the books to correct, and this filter has been our answer. Yes, you’ll need to maintain yearly, but this is your answer if you have crud water like us. Also, Nick at isprings Cust. Support is super helpful. Called the support number, actually talked to a human being. He answered + some.

We installed this filter along with a whole house water filter and it worked great for over a year. I only had the rinse it every so often. Then one weekend I used a lot of water in the well and must of pulled in more than the usual amount of sediment and the whole water system would plug almost immediately after rinsing the spin down filter and changing all of the filters in the whole house filter. I emailed I-Spring on a Sunday expecting not to hear back from them since it was over a year old. Two days later, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving I got an email and phone call from John at I-Spring explaining the filter on the spin down filter was too fine and causing the system to plug. He even sent us two new filters to try. We have not had any problems since then.
