Excellent pet door, used for kid's bedroom door. Easy instructions. Bottom plastic strip with magnets jiggles when door closes, making a little noise. Added white electrical tape to hold in-place, and now door is virtually silent, which is a great to avoid waking anyone!

Easy to put in,just cut the right size hole in the door and it just gets screwed together.I took the plastic flap out so the cat can get through easier since it is in an inside door

Although the directions were a bit lacking, the assembly was easy enough and the quality is pretty good.

I bought this to use as a cat door for basement access. The best parts are the flexible see-through flap and the solid sliding panel to close it when necessary.Perfect for our home.

The door thickness specs are not obvious, but I was able to fashion a spacer. The concepts and execution of this design are excellent. Highly recommended.

Returned it as soon as I opened the box. Cheaply made. Vinyl swing door does not stay closed. Should not be marked for exterior use.

Ideal says HD is the only retailer authorized to sell this "outdated" product w/ my preferred WHITE frame & CLEAR flap. The new design is gray w/ an opaque flap I do not think is useful. We've bought 4 Ideal cat doors for our home & RV. Decent pricing, easy, secure installation & lasting quality.

I was replacing an older door I installed a few years ago. Very easy to install!!!

Easy to assemble, but the flap does not always seal the entrance, giving room for bugs to enter the house
