It was not as easy to install as the directions state. Needed tools and a second person to install

This product shipped immediately when it was not available in store. It arrived very quickly and in pristine condition. It installed with very little effort, and I am very happy with it.

We just got a Doxie puppy from PetsNPals. Dachshunds are notorious for being one of the worst breeds of dogs to potty train. Once we installed our Ideal Doggy Door, Stevie had so much fun going in and out, she potty trained herself. Thanks Ideal and the Home Depot!

Excelent Door! I returned it because it did not have a locking mechanism. I will be purchasing it again because I found the locking mechanism that works with the door.

So easy to install! The doggie door fits just fine in our patio door and is good quality. It would be nice if they built in a way to latch the handle from your sliding door, but overall it’s ideal for our dog.

My puppies love it. They run in and out every 5 min. The door looks GREAT..

Fits in the door well. It takes time for the dog to get used to going through it.

Really easy to install design. Although it should come with permanent mount fixtures and a lock to latch onto the sliding door window.

Did not have a way to lock sliding glass door. No locking mechanism in pet door.

My door is exactly this size so wouldn't get over the lip so had to cut 1/2 inch off like another review said. Weather stripping must buy more I got some for super cheap did a perfect job. The door fits but I put stripping in front and back of lip so it does no rattling or moving and now it's completely still. Great product for price. These can be three times the price so 117$ is no problem

I like the panel, solid frame helps block out the heat, fairly easy for dogs and cats to go thru firm panel door with magnet, however can not fit and sit in door frame properly

Bought this for our vinyl sliding door because we have a dog with bladder issues who needs to go outside a lot! This door sits in the channel of the slider with no drilling or screwing of any kind needed. We used a stick in the channel of the door to effectively lock it when we wanted to leave the house. This door didn't leak even when a fairly heavy rain hit it directly. I would recommend this door for someone wanting the convenience of a pet door without having to do put holes in your house.

Works and fits well, although the door is a little high, and a little on the small side, for a "medium" sized pet door. Really appreciate the ease of adjustment.

Returned it. Made well, but its engineering is poor. 2 knobs for releasing the spring-loaded top make contact with sliding door frame so it cannot fit flush with the vertical door frame, causing gap between new panel and sliding door. Returned it.

I had to return it. Made my doorway to small to pass through.

This was a simple and great way for both our cats and dog to in and out whenever they want instead of scratching at the sliding glass door. It's easy to install and works well.
