My 15-year old daughter and I managed to install this...
My 15-year old daughter and I managed to install this door in our wonky old uneven 115 year old closet doorway. We are very pleased with the results. It was not the easiest installation in the world thanks to our house, but the instructions were great and the door is very nice. Door is heavy.

I broke my previous closet doors (different type than these) when I fell against them. I replaced them with these doors, which were easy to install and much higher quality. They are heavier but an order of magnitude smoother in opening and closing. They delivered the doors on a pallet arrangement that kept the doors upright and secure. Follow the steps in the instructions and you can't go wrong.

This door is very heavy. It requires 2 strong people to install it. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is good quality and operates smoothly and quietly. The MDF provides a solid backing for the mirrors. The mirrors are smooth without ripples or imperfections reflecting true images. I have two sets of these double doors. I would definitely recommend them.

Great packaging and build workmanship. Worst instructions EVer. Not difficult to put together once you understand what goes where but don’t rely on directions as they are for multiple applications which is not helpful. It was like a Ron hazzleton episode as the directions skipped important parts.

Lenworth, Thank you for your feedback. the bottom gap of most doors is typically 3/4" to 1". It is especially good to have gaps in closets for ventilation purposes. If you go around your home I predict you will find the same gap on most of your interior doors. It's something that you probably notice now but most customers report they never notice it again after the initial inspection. Thank you.

We used this to cover our laundry machines in our mud room. Doors are pretty nice, solid, and operate smoothly. I don't really like the bottom wood bar that goes under the door. I'm not really sure why the whole bar is necessary as the door rests on the ends. Overall it's a really nice mirrored door and installation wasn't too bad. It's just the wood bar at the bottom that's odd. I sanded it and lacquered it so at least it looks a little better and will hold up better over time. It's just awkward sliding anything out now because of the wood bar.

Thank you for your kind words Tomx. Some customers choose not to install the wood saddle and just mount the bottom plates directly on the floor. If sliding things out is important this might have been a better option for you. Thanks again.
