I read many people would use a blade to score then use a diamond cutter to snip the pieces. We found that using the diamond cutter wasn't the best way even after scoring it. Many of the tiles would break into little pieces and it didn't give it a smooth edge. So, we bought a wet saw and that was exactly what we needed to finish the project. We did end up using sanded caulk to finish the edges which really completed the look.

The tiles look beautiful - they are real stone. I used a diamond edged blade on a multi-tool to cut. If I was cutting near the end of a tile, I would just score the tile and then cut with tile pinchers. That worked great. I followed directions about using a little soapy water on the back and that allowed me to make sure the pieces were fitting tightly against those already on the wall. Too much water, and they slide down. As you can see in the picture, I used them as a backsplash in the laundry room to run behind the sink and washer/dryer. Gives the room some class.

Easy installation and it looks great! Very happy with the results. The stones are white with a little hint of grey.

I'll start by saying I am very pleased with how my fireplace surround looked once finished. It turned out beautifully. And installation wasn't too bad considering we were doing it ourselves for free. My husband did have to put edges together like a puzzle, but all in all it went on easily enough. The reason I gave this product four stars out of five is that the colors are not accurately represented at all in the pics. Every pic makes it look like a combo of medium and lighter brown with some gold tones thrown in. I was very excited about the gold accents I thought I'd be seeing. In person it's a much darker brown mix with a little grey. We almost didn't even put it on, then changed our minds once we unpacked a few tiles and held them next to the fireplace. It still looks amazing, and I'm happy with the project, but it's a bit different than pictured.

These are beautiful and very easy to use as long as you have a dremel. They cannot be done without a tool that cuts actual stone which I wasn’t aware of so I gave them 4 stars. I have so many compliments!

I gave this tile 4 stars because you have a very short time to place the tile and some of the tiles didn't have enough of adhesive to stick to the wall so I used liquid nail. Other than that the tile went up fairly easy. It was easy to cut and the outcome was fantastic. I love my new backsplash received many compliments.

Very to install with a tile saw to cut. Must be careful as individual tiles break easy. Made our space look very nice.

Great product. I would purchase again. I recommend watching several videos on youtube that show tips and tricks to help with cutting, fittinfg, etc. using soap water in spray bottle is essential

THE PRODUCT MET MY EXPECTATIONS. IT WAS FAIRLY SIMPLE TO INSTALL; JUST NEEDED A TILE CUTTER. THE BROAD AREA WAS THE EASY PART, THE EDGES POSED THE MOST CHALLENGE. BATHROOM LOOKS GREAT NOW. THE MOSAIC TILE MAKES THE ROOM POP NOW. :)

I bought a bunch of these tiles because I wanted someone I could install without needing a wet saw or grout. These self-adhesive tiles were perfect for me to put up myself. You do need a special tool to snip the tile rock, but once you get the hang of it, they are easy to trim. I used them as a back-splash around my garden tub and vanity and they look beautiful!

The tiles were easy to work with. Easy to put up. Very easy to cut: just need a utility knife and snippers. My wall is a but uneven so i ended up grouting to close the gaps. Square by square by square. The end result was worth it.

Awesome product for a quick project

The tile is very easy to install. Each tile was consistent in color and texture. The tile was easy to work with however, it is very brittle so be careful when cutting.

this was the easiest tile to apply, our walls were not plum and we were able to cut pieces to fit easily. the look is high end and elegant. we installed them in mid November 2018 and have had no problems with them pulling away from the wall. definitely would buy them again.

Looks fantastic...easy to apply for a DIYer only issue is cutting the tiles requires more than a utility knife or table saw. Utility knife not strong enough to cut tile and table saw chipped tiles...wet saw worked great and did not ruin the glue on the back of the sheets.

The adhesive works perfectly. Very easy to install. Stones are delicate, so use caution when pressing against the wall as they could potentially break. If you need to cut the stones to be 1/4 of an inch, you better trim it vs cut it as cutting them will break the stone. Be cautious of the color as some of them are a little bit darker than others.

We installed this tile as a backsplash in our kitchen about a year and a half ago. We have not had tpo make any type of repairs. It is holdi g up very well. We were skeptical at first. The only tools we used was a utility knife to cut through the backing and a tile knipper to shape the tiles we needed to shape. The adhesive backing is very strong. Be sure to follow the directions of using soapy water when applying. It was a fun diy project that turned out great. I ended up using a sealer on the tiles while i was sealing my concrete countertop. I don’t know if it was actually needed, but only took a few minutes

Very nice ceramic like tile. Not sure what material they are but they are real tile. Some were cracked but seems to be the nature of the product. I easily cut them with a manual tile cutter. Easy to install.

Easy install

Small job, no contractor wanted to do, so I installed the Himalayan adhesive stone tiles myself on a plain imperfect wall. Handle little tiles with care to avoid them chip or break. You can cut the tiles to fit the surface you want to do. I love the new look of the newly decorative tiles on the wall. It gives the wall a fresh modern look. Try them!!!

Look great in my kitchen

The backsplash looks amazing but it’s not a DIY tile. If you don’t get it into the EXACT spot it needs to be, you will damage Sheetrock or leave a mess behind on existing tile. The good news is, it will NEVER fall off. I need to find some kind of molding of the same substrate to finish the ends and between windows. Home Depot should offer it as an option with the tile. It’s a full day job for big kitchens, you can’t just decide after dinner one night that you’re going to change your backsplash. Clear your calendar for the day.

I had a hard time deciding on a back splash especially since my husband was very adamant that we didn't need any! I saw these online, read the reviews and ordered them. And we are BOTH in love with them! Even though we were not the ones installing them we were told that they are fairly easy to cut and install. They really make our new kitchen look classy and I love looking at the back splash!!!!

Easy to install, looks great and great price too!

This product is excellent. The directions say to use very little water, that the water is just to keep the sections movable for a while, but we found you need a moderate amount, at least on untreated drywall. The stones cut easily with a nippers and the sections fit together well. Our installation was on a lower floor existing fireplace that we were covering. The floor wasn't exactly level so we had to fill gaps with stone we trimmed to a more narrow width. it worked wonderfully. I am attaching photos of before (forgot to take it before we framed it) and after. We covered over a wood burning fireplace so future owners can return to it, but installed an electric fireplace/heater.

I was surprised by sticky backing. So strong. A little grout to fill in open spaces and good to go. Love the look.
