Bought this to use instead of the popular Karlby option for a desk setup since I have a lot of teak furniture. It's not quite a match, but the wood tone is really nice and the quality is very good for my use.

It's a very nice butcher block for the price. Good quality and color.

I ordered 2 of these..They were both easy to manipulate with some homeowner tools and installation went very smooth..Very happy with the results and finished look of the countertops..Very detailed instructions and information included with the item which is nice that I don't have to search the internet or visit a website to get this information.. I would suggest better packaging to protect the item..

This countertop works perfectly as a desktop in my office. I used this in conjunction with IKEA Alex drawers and it completed the look in my office. Comparing this to the IKEA countertops they have, it's clear that this is the winner since it can be cut, the corners can be routed, and the surface can be stained. IKEA uses veneer which is stuck at the size you purchased. I have had this desk setup for almost a month now and it has transformed this entire room. There is one blemish on a side where the wood fibers have split from the edge, but I put it on the bottom backside and will forget it even exists. A final note: If you can read the title you'll see that the surface is 6' long by 2' 1.5" deep by 1" tall. Sorry to the guy that seems to think the 1.5" was the height, but he wasn't paying close attention. It is very clearly 1 inch.

I used this countertop to complete my DIY desk...this countertop is beautiful. The color is slightly different than the picture, but it's perfaect!

To add to Mr Murphy's answer, it does have squared edges. The surface was also slightly rough and since I was also going to use it as a desktop, I wanted it smoother. It only took a couple minutes with a sander and 220 grit paper to make it very smooth and I also rounded the edges a little while I was at it. It is beautiful and I can't wait to seal it.

1) The product page states "Oiled with Interbuilds hard wax wood oil, uniquely approved for contact with food stuff with a plant-based formula that is 100 free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)" but this is misleading. The product is not really finished. The instructions say it still needs to be sealed. It needed some finishing sanding also. 2) They did a terrible job staining. The stain was heavy in some areas while other areas were bare. There were shiny spots on the wood that look like machine tracks. 3) The surface is not perfect. There were some small holes (~1/16") that probably should be filled.

These look great, cut easy, would do again.

It wasn't as dark as picture, but with a stain and a rub of linseed oil, it's perfect! Very pleased!!

This board is actually 1” thick and not the 1.5” it’s advertising. Super disappointed that I received a whole .5” smaller board.

Good solid countertop. Corners were a little rounded and not perfectly square, and edges were a little rough in some spots. But cut easily with a jig saw and sanded out nicely.

Color represented in the picture is very accurate to the actual product, some minor dings and scuffs but nothing that couldn't be corrected with a light sanding. My countertop has many knots which you don't see in the product image. Beautiful countertop after sanding,applying danish oil and polishing. Recommended!

It Looks like a grate counter and I like the wooden padern the desk also has enough space to drag the mouse around the table without hitting anything the counter to is also big enough to put a huge mouse pad on it, it’s also grate for productivity because of the amount of room that it has

The gray color of this solid butcher block countertop worked perfectly with our color scheme in the pantry. It was well made and arrived without a blemish!

I use these for standing desk tops and they work great.

Had chips and dents in the wood

This 6’ top is only 1” thick. The 8’ tops are 1 1/2” thick. I was going to make an “L” shaped countertop but now i have to return this one and order another 8’ and cut 3’ off of it. Why would they not make them all the same thickness

Complete waste of time and money. Long, lengthwise cracks appeared in all of the boards just a month after installation. Avoid
