This Interbuild Solid Acacia 6 ft. L x 25.5 in. D x 1 in. T, Butcher Block Countertop, Golden Teak, Golden Teak Stain is a perfect addition to my kitchen and will go great with my renovation. Cutting, sanding and staining is supper easy and the best part is if it gets damaged I can just sand, stain & seal without having to replace. That alone is more than enough reason for me to buy and install this.

The wood barely looked like this picture. I love the variation in the picture, but he butcher block I received was almost completely blonde wood with very few reddish brown pieces.

Received my countertop on Monday. Packaging was intact and still wrapped in plastic. Countertop has large split, making it a useless product. Interbuild needs to come get their garbage out of my house

I bought this countertop with the goal of using it as a desk, and it has come out great. I didn't know much about woodwork but I managed to sand it down and apply a varathane gloss finish which gave it the perfect surface texture for a desk. It did have some rough edges upon purchase that chipped off but I just flipped it upside down. Overall solid purchase for a desk.

Like others have written, nice color but, cracked about 16 inches long. Can see light thru the crack. Whatever happened to quality? So disappointed

Slightly warped, so we had to deal with that. Otherwise it is fine.

Very cheap, poor quality

Bought this countertop and was highly impressed with it and it was gorgeous until it came time to oil it. I used the recommended Interbuild oil and it completely ruined the countertop. The oil remained sticky and did not absorb. We had to sand down the countertop completely and it destroyed the color of the counter. So now we have to buy a new counter

This countertop looked beautiful but then it split in several places when it was cut. It was unusable and I had to return it. Returning it was difficult because UPS didn’t want to pick the 2 pieces, they wanted one piece so they gave me a label and had me duct tape the pieces together and they would return for them. The duct taped counter sat on my porch for a week and a half before it was picked up. (If I could lift it, I would have done it myself) So no, I can not recommend.

Crack in the wood, wouldn’t accept return due to the “split being apart of the wood”.

Overall the look of te countertop is quite nice BUT there are LOTS of imperfections in the surface (pit holes, dinks, filled spots etc. that I'm quite surprised passed QC at te company OR for HD!) and on top of that there are clear areas where the level changes; I'm not talking about between individual blocks of wood or an overall warp, I'm talking about where it looks to be really badly over sanded in parts. (All tis is VERY hard to see in the wrappings at the store)

Exactly what I expected! Got it to be an office desktop and worked wonderfully.

We bought 3 of these for a counter top in our kitchen. Having never bought these, we read the labels and stored them in our house until we could install them. A month later we opened packaging to see the very first line on the BACK of the label INSIDE the plastic state “do not store vertically, store flat” each one is now bowed. No worries, it says to store them flat for “24 hours or so” and they will flatten out. We’re on to 1 week and still so crowned we cannot install. I’m now using PLYWOOD on my cabinets in hopes my countertops will one day be level enough to install. They are also so full of imperfections, the finish is almost none existent and we could have bought an unfinished board for this amount of work we need to do. Why the storage instructions are not on the label is baffling. If these don’t straighten out, I’m out $600+ and will end up getting arbourite anyways. So disappointed.

Although I like the countertop for style/appearance, I was disappointed that one of the three panels had a large crack/chip on the end. I kept it since I had a cut to make anyway. One of the other countertops that I installed developed a crack just two days after install. about 7" long which is 1/16" of an inch on the end tapering down to a hairline end. I will have to fill this with some sort of epoxy or other filling agent after I research what is the best way to repair. I did not expect this in the product, although I realize this is probably a lower end butcher block based on the price.

The Interbuild Acacia 6 ft. L x 25 in. D x 1 in. T Butcher Block Countertop in Golden Teak Stain, did meet my expectations. I use it as a bar top for an outside bar. I have received numerous compliments on it. However, even keeping it covered when not in use, I do not recommend outdoor use.
