Coloring was totally off - I wanted the darker bits of greens and golds like the picture, but what I received was iridescent colors of clear tones and steel blues with very little green. I don’t know if they sent me another color because they were all out, or if the displayed sample was exceptionally pigmented and colorful. I love the quality of glass of what was received but the colors were way off. I am very frustrated as my tile job is now delayed and I won’t use it to just get on with it.

The glass color is very pretty. The mounting requires you to mount it with the plastic backing TOWARDS you. You can have a hard time aligning it. After it sets, you peel off the plastic. The adhesive on the plastic does NOT come off the glass. I have tried a razor blade, lighter fluid, goof-off and finger nail polish remover to take of the adhesive residue. Still fighting that . The design of the tile does not lend itself to long term durability-the smallest part of the tile is stuck to your surface with the grout NOT locking it into place due to it's concave shape.
I have had better results flipping it over and mounting is plastic backer down. Once grouted, the glass is locked into place This results in very large grout lines and a cobblestone look. You lose the iridescent part of the glass. It's ok. I knew what I was getting and intend to use it with the cobblestone look. I don't want to fight getting adhesive off for days. My projects are small mosaics. I CANNOT imagine this being an effective product for a large area-scraping adhesive off for days

Ease of installation :
First of all Green Tea is an odd name for this glass tile, as there was very little green here - it was mostly shades of blue. I decided to use it any way. The front of the tile was smooth and the back was quite beveled. And using Home Depot’s pre-mixed adhesive, the results were that most of the tile did not stick to the adhesive. Was this the tile’s fault or the adhesive? The adhesive did say it could be used with glass. I have worked with glass mosaic tile before and have never had such a disaster. What a mess and a complete waste of money!!
This is beautiful tile and I am very pleased with this purchase. My tile setter used the clear backing against the mastic rather than try to set the tile according to the directions and then try to remove the clear backing. It worked perfectly so the directions are probably wrong given the difficulty others have had removing the backing afterward.

This product is inferior. The picture is of the back side of the tile, not the front. There is no mesh backing, only a cellophane tape. When the tape is pulled off after the tiles are set into the mastic and grout, the tiles fall out too.
The tiles are gorgeous on the wrong side! The side that faces out has a rainbow oil slick look to it which when it reflects the light hides the very pretty green tiles.
The cellophane sticky that holds the tiles in place seemed like it was old and had gotten baked onto the tiles, perhaps they had been in a hot warehouse for way too long. After the mastic sets the cellophane is supposed to peel right off and leave no glue residue. This did neither. I was picking little tiny bits of stuck on cellophane for hours, it was stuck on so hard that when a decent sized piece did peel off it took a few tiles off the wall with it. There is still glue residue on the tiles, hopefully I can clean it off with alcohol later...
