Doors arrived in safely to store, smooth nice “white” paint job that we paid extra for as opposed to primed. Sadly the white they used looks like in needed another coat or just a slightly Off white with a bluish hue when put next to white jams and casing. Overall they’re nice but needed repainted :(

The doors were delivered extremely well protected and so had no scratches at all. That said, there were a couple of doors with very small painting defects where it was not covered completely. The workable areas are very small, but that is probably true with most doors today, and for me it was not a problem. Overall the doors look great, have a solid feel to them and yet are not heavy. I recommend these doors.

I ordered the doors in March-April and I got then by August, nobody never contact me to explain the delay of my order, so I had to be going there to ask few times what happened, the doors closet and French doors arrived no with defects from factory but with smashed rail, scratches and defective

I had purchased several 30" doors and they installed fine. But the 28" doors are not wood framed, they are that cardboard stuff so fitting them was not easy as that stuff does not shave down easily and is much rougher than wood so finishing is an issue. Now it is not closing properly and needs to be refitted. Probably due to moisture absorption since I needed the narrower doors for the bathrooms and didn't get the paint on them promptly. Lesson learned: if you use these doors be sure you seal them completely right away with good quality paint.

The door is very nice. Beautiful and well made. I painted it white and added antique style black doorknob with a backplate. Looks great in our space. Adds a ton of character! It's amazing what replacing flat, builder grade doors can do for a home! Only downside, took forever it to come in!!

The edges of these “ding” easily. Not an issue once they are hung, but be careful not to bump them befor that. They look very nice in place.

I would recommend it if you are skilled at fixing the defects that come with this product. While the door had the look we wanted, some areas of the frame did not have sufficient nails, and some of the nails were not properly set. Jeld-wen needs to work on quality control and hire skilled workers. Due to its poor construction, installing this door demanded considerable manipulation.

It is good quality and easy to install.

for the cost, they are pretty good 'solid' doors.

This is a nice looking door. It comes primed and looks great painted. Very happy with its performance.

We ordered this door to replace our 50s style shutter pantry door.Door is a little cheaply made. When I cut for hinges and door handle door is filled with a cardboard wood like substance but had no issues cutting and scraping. Bought the primed option, paint went on very smoothly and end result is magnificent. Looks identical to its counterpart solid one that's another $100 plus more. Wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a bathroom or other room where sound might be a problem but works great for our pantry. We will be ordering the bifold version of this door for our hallways.

Terrible quality. Would not recommend anyone to buy it. We bought this for out interior doors, and the wood gave out in a year. We had a terrible experience with warranty claims, both with Jeld-wen and Home Depot. Their warranty promise is just a sham to sell the product. They do not make good on their warranty claims.

We purchased this door to complete a pocket door installation for a closet and the door is warped. We had to make several adjustments to keep the door from scrapping when sliding into the pocket. Overall disappointed because the door is attractive otherwise.

I wanted to get rid of my hollow core doors and thought that these were solid with panels. Not the case at all. when cutting one bottom to fit and area where the floor had been raised due to hardwood install, i realized it was hollow as well and had to use a filler piece from the trimmed off area to close the gap created when shortening the panel. I don't mind that they are mdf but I mind the hollowness and subsequence lightness of the doors. Not much better than what I replaced. Just newer.

A basic door at a good price. Not much else to say.

This is a very great looking door. This was the primary reason why we are installing these to replace "colonial" style hollow core doors. But you should be aware of some issues if trimming. I had to trim this door about 1-1/2 inches from the bottom. That resulted in cutting away all of the interior wood strip on the bottom. There is perhaps only a one inch high strip of wood there, and that makes it structurally weak in the very area where you would want strength. The good news is that, once I had the "open" bottom on the door, I was able to glue up a couple of strips of plywood, long enough to fit in the opening, and about four inches high. Then I glued and clamped this into the bottom of the door. (I had to also remove a piece of styrofoam inserted in the middle of the door interior, near the bottom). The result was a really solid bottom strip inside the door, Much stronger than the original version. So if you need to trim these doors be aware of the extremely thin strip of wood on the bottom, but take heart that you can vastly improve the structural integrity with a little plywood, glue and extra work.

Used these as sliding closet doors and they look fantastic!

The door lamination was coming apart. Had to glue it back.

These doors are much heavier than I expected. My husband and I were very pleased with that but they were delivered by a service in a van? They were not individually wrapped up just all 11 of them on a small pallet with wrap around top and bottom. A few small scratches or dings but should look great once they're all painted. Haven't installed yet but they are being used as closet doors and we really like them. Another winner from HD!!! Ordered several sizes from 24" to 36" and they're all just fine. They are not true flat sticking for the mission style, they do have a small edge around each section. Can't tell that from the pic.

This is a great door. Standard quality but very crisp look!
