Exactly what we needed to match the rest of the house!

I would like to give this door 5 stars. However I cannot do that, the quality of the door and jamb is somewhat lack luster. Several chips were found in the jamb, as well as the striker plate mounting area being completely ruined, by whoever routed the hole in the factory. It was so bad, I had to make a dutchman filler and re-route the hole myself, just to be able to mount the striker plate. The provided hole on the door for the entry latch was also roughly routed and needed to be cleaned up, as well as a having a hairline crack in the door in the recess, widening when screwing in the entry latch. For the money I spent, the door is nice and keeps the sound down while someone is in the restroom, but for as much as I paid I'm displeased with the poor craftsmanship of the door.

Nice solid door, but frame was flimsy for the weight of the door and the screws in the hinges wherenot up to the task of holding the door to the frame. Got a few longer screws and door is great. You would think spending the money you do for a solid door that you wouldn't have to go buy additional parts to make sure it stays together.

It was just as ordered. It just a few little dings in the primer.

This door was purchased for a basement project, but I would utilize it anywhere in my home. It is a quality product and has a modern style.

Very nice door. The door jamb and the door are slightly different colors and it took 4 months to get the door, but it is good quality.

Very happy with this door assembly. The frame was made from straight boards and the door itself is heavy and feels 100% solid. Although this was the first time I have installed doors, the installation was straightforward - even in my old crooked house. Youtube and "Renovation" (5th ed) were both valuable resources that helped me figure out what to do. Very pleased with the final result. Would recommend.

I ordered about 13 doors online as a special order. The doors are cute; however, the pricey doors does not mean quality of the material of the door is better than the regular $100.00 doors that are sold in the store. I knew the doors were mdf; BUT, the doors should be more wood and solid vs. little less mdf and hollow for the price of the doors. Don't buy unless you're looking for a style. Buy the cheaper doors.

Door frame was longer on one side than the other by 1/8". We noticed something was off right out of the packaging, but we figured if we shimmed and installed one side level, the door would start hanging properly. Nope. Still drooping on one side. Finally decided to measure either side of the frame, and that explained it all. Had to rip out the frame and cut down the longer side. Honestly this is so basic. Major quality control issue. And this was a special order item. Also, give options other than stainless for the hinges. Had to spend another $11 to replace those ugly things.

So the solid MDF slab is fine. It's very heavy, about 50-60 lbs, which gave us the feel we wanted. The MDF slab shouldn't ever warp, and is going to be painted white, so no point in getting real wood. However, the "pre-hung" jamb is worthless. It's supposed to save time by preventing me from making my own jambs, but the time I wasted trying to get this thing hung more than negated that. First of all, the jamb is MDF as well, which is totally inappropriate for a door weighing over 50 pounds. It really should be solid wood to properly support the door. Second, the mill-work for the hinge butts are crap. After struggling to get the top of my door to not strike the jamb on the latch side, I finally noticed that the top hinge route was not deep enough, so I had to fix that. There is still something off about the routes, but I'm done messing with this thing. I also highly recommend changing the hinges to ball bearing, because again, the weight of the door is too much and can make the included ones sag/bend over time. Just be sure to use a long wood screw in each of your hinges into the jack stud to pull that hinge butt in. Finish nails will not hold this thing, especially with MDF jambs. I had to put a screw through all my shims into the studs to keep things from moving. After fighting this thing for hours I decided that I will be making the rest of my jambs myself out of poplar, and just buy the slabs. Also note, that the lead time on this was about 2 months.

The doors had a lot of damage to each of them. We will have to patch them up so we can paint them. The look of the doors are cute but the craftsmanship not so great.
