All four windows had defects. One looked as if it was droped from a distance. The nailing flange was broken and the metal clad is bent a bit. Im not sure if this is a home depot problem or a jeld wen issue but it seems to be a reoccurring event when i buy higher priced items at your store. Ive lost all faith in your products.

Nice windows, but the outside is not totally black. The inside edge of the exterior is white.

Not the kind of window I was expecting for the price. You’re better of going into the store and buying a pre-made window from the shelf.

The latches are hard to use. There are no stops for safely leaving the window open at night.

Good windows for the application I was using them in. One sash had a broken balance pin socket. Not sure if it was assembly or just bad wood grain in the wood joint where the pin is inserted. Still gets a five star rating.

I love this window, I do have to say that it did not have a way to pull the top window down, so I had to route A place for my fingers to grab onto the window. I also found two of the weatherstrippings were not secure well. If it doesn’t hold then I’ll probably have to glue it into the groove.

Installation went fine. It looks good.

My contractor said these are quality windows Easy to install.

This was a special order and I picked it up at the store. Thankfully, no damage.

One of the windows came white in color instead of bronze we waited a few weeks for the order and had no choice to use what we got. We need to paint the windows now.

I have to think some of these positive reviewers are comparing these to very old existing windows, and that’s why they seem like an improvement. As someone who has dealt with a few different brands and types of windows, these are not even close in quality to other similar priced options. They are hard to open, don’t slide easily once you do open them, the partial-open tabs are very flimsy light plastic (and I can’t figure out how to keep them from popping open). There are globs of glue showing between the glass and vinyl frames. All of the little pieces appear to have been pasted together by a 2nd grader. The seams in the vinyl don’t line up well. Although they are vinyl, they feel like cheap, thin metal. I have to think Jeld-wen isn’t in it for repeat business and makes a living off of first time buyers that can’t return their garbage windows once they’re installed.

Very good quality window for the price and service is excellent I will be buying more of JELD-WEN windows

The windows are excellent once they are installed. They arrived while we weren't home and several of the corners were bent so before installation they had to be bent/hammered back into shape. Luckily it doesn't show once they are installed.

Windows were easy to install, hope they are long lasting

Screen bent in the middle. When bottom is all the way up, the top part slides down. Nail fin was bent in places around the window. Poor quality control!

Not a bad window for the money

We used these windows to replace some old single pane wooden windows in our 1903 home. The installation was pretty straightforward and they look similar to the original windows.
