Of the eight I installed about ten years ago, I've had 5 sliders fail and 3 fixed panes fail.
I can't find the receipt, and frankly, thermal receipts don't last long to begin with. My local store says it's lifetime warranty... if you have the receipt.
This left-hand slider was a stocked item but no longer, so I can't just go buy the windows at my local store and pull the slider and fixed glass out of them.
I'm selling the house and it's more money to outlay but the view is what will sell this house.
Thus, I can't recommend these windows. Buyer beware.

Product damaged when packed. Nail flange bent or broken. Used a hair dryer to straighten out the vinyl. Nail flange was only 1 inch, very skimpy. Very disappointing.

The window was defective and bowed outwardin the middle. If you measure the frame opening on the bottom and the top it's 28 inches, but if you measurein the middle it's 28.5 inches. So between the screen frame and the window is a half inch gap that bees and mosquitos and everything else flies thro

The plastic latch on the window was broken when received....
The plastic latch on the window was broken when received. I have not had a chance to contact Home Depot about the issue yet but need a replacement latch due to the shipping damage. Otherwise the window was in good condition and I was able to install it

Great price for good quality window. We love that the windows are lighted tinted. The windows were ordered online and they arrived in perfect condition. The delivery team was very nice and helpful. A family friend installed the windows for us.

The light tinting you refer to is there because of our use of Low E 366 glass. Low Emissivity Glass (Low-E) is manufactured by depositing a microscopically thin, transparent metal or metallic oxide layer(s) on the glass. Low-E coatings reduce radiant heat loss, and can reduce the passage of UV rays. Your kind words offer us encouragement in the way we continue to serve our customers. I have been a contractor for 35 years. I would not buy something if I thought may be bad. I research and buy with confidence. There are window suppliers I absolutely stay away from. This brand is a good inexpensive brand for camps.

Nice sturdy window. Install is easy. I used it in a replacement application. Removed nailing fins and screwed through frame. Had to pick up screw caps but other than that it operates well. Only complaint are the screens. They use nylon which is prone to tearing.

Jeld-wen v-2500 fit was tight with relatively easy installation. Door latch mechanism not functional. Very disappointing. Its been a year since i purchased the "crazy foam" product but i assume its application is still functioning
