I don’t normally review but I had to this time due to the other bad reviews. The door is beautiful and was finished perfectly. The only negative was that it took about 5 weeks to come in.

I had the good luck to find a neighbor who installed our beautiful door for us, just yesterday! I wish all of our doors were so handsome! This Jeldwen interior door is a whole different door from our other contractor grade doors, so substantial and well made! This door is more like a piece of furniture, fit, finish, and style! Even though the color name is 'milk chocolate', it is much more attractive than any milk chocolate that I know of! Saving up for a few more just like it! I am really happy with the new door, and its installation, too!

Looks great. I bought this for my front door apartment in a 2 family house. Not very heavy but looks really nice. Color is rich.

Poor quality! I don’t know why somebody would make an espresso color door and have white underneath the door. EVERY LITTLE SCRATCH IS WHITE! It’s kind of hard to put up a door without making a scratch so therefore you have to touch up the whole door after it’s installed and continuously! I surely wouldn’t recommend if you have children. For $350 a door it’s Ridiculous! They look awesome, that’s about it. They also sent two wrong swing doors. The door casings were made cheaply.

They are pretty but for some reason they are not expresso color all the way through. So when you get a scratch it’s WHITE! I think it isn’t possible to install these doors without a scratch. I ordered six of them and not happy with the quality. They took to long to come in and two were the wrong swing. They look beautiful but not worth the price.

The door arrived approximately two weeks ahead of schedule so by the time of the stated arrival date I had the door completely installed. The door arrived in good shape with no damage. The door looks great and a definate improvement over the old garage to house door.

on one of the doors the hinge was misallinged. Had to remove hinge, chisel out wood to get hinge to fit properly. Also the drive that delivered the doors hit my gate and bent the gate post.

I was not sure what to expect as far as quality when I ordered this door because it was so affordable. Wow, was I ever surprised! This door is very high quality, heavy and solid and very attractive. I hope to buy three more exactly like it to replace other doors in the house I am remodeling!

Very high quality door. Beautiful finish. on door and jambs. Hinges are adequate. Comes well packaged and arrived without any damage. Solid core and heft make these doors feel like they are far more expensive. Would use again and highly recommend

The door jamb was white and did not come in any colors to match the door. Will be returning

This door is quite nice. It's got a great appearance, looks like wood and is VERY SOLID and heavy. The solid core component makes a big difference. The look: it looks like wood. It has a grain appearance to it without the grain texture. The panels are evenly cut and the door is very symmetric- something you rarely find in solid wood doors. The build: This door is composite. It has a solid wood frame with, what appears to be MDF (particle board) as a filler- you can see it in the door latch cutout. The bottom of the door has a paperboard-like look to it when you trim off some of the wood. Cutting was easy but I just used a sander with 60 grit sandpaper to "shave off" the excess needed to make the door fit. The frame: the framing is a light wood (pine, perhaps) and it not very substantive. I ended up removing the door from the frame and used it as a slab. Overall: I love this door. The look is great, the solid core is nice, sound deadening is substantial and it was a good selection. I don't know that the door is worth the price point, though, the pre-finished feature is nice.

The door material and construction quality is good, what I would expect for the cost. The pre-stain finish is horrible. There are visible brush and splotch marks all over the door. If I had know it would look this bad up close, I would not have ordered them. I should have refused the order at the store but it was packaged in such a manner that the poor finish was not obvious. INSPECT CLOSELY! My order was not filled properly and I did not catch it until I started the installation. I will have to change the swing on one of the doors to make it work.

we are so happy with this door. we had a hollow core door to bedroom and switched it out with this solid core door, what a major difference in sound coming into and out bedroom. we didn't need frame we just had to switch hinges the fit was great,the door went right in .no fuss. the color and and construction of door really does make it look like a classic wood door. the look from old contractor grade hollow core door to this new door is amazing .you won't be sorry
