Just what I needed to help lift heavy loads.

These weights (mounting bracket also required) are a definite requirement if using with a snowblower (chains also required). I have an E130 John Deere lawn tractor.

John Deere Quality.

I purchased these as front weights for my 750 compact Utility Tractor. They are a perfect fit. Delivered to my door with FREE SHIPPING. The number embossed on the weights are UC13236. For anyone wanting to know, these weights(BG20029)(UC13236) are the same dimension as the John Deere Ag part number R66949. I've added a photo of the original weight and the newly purchased weight. If searching for weights(front, or rear), I'd recommend these weight to anyone with a Lawn Mower/Garden Tractor, or a Compact/Sub-Compact Utility Tractor.

I purchased these for use on both my weight brackets, front and rear, for a john Deere 430 Diesel garden tractor. When running the 54" blade or 47" snowblower I load 6x of these onto the rear weight bracket. When running my 48" tiller I load 6x of these onto the front weight bracket. They make a tremendous difference in balancing the weight of the attachments and gaining optimal traction. I do still find benefit in also using wheel weights(in addition to front/rear bracket & suitcase weights) for all of the mentioned attachments + for other 3Pt Category 0 attachments (Brinly 3PT 12" moldboard plow, Brinly 3Pt 4 Gang Disc cultivator, and Brinly C-Tine cultivator).

These are 50 pounds of weight painted JD Green. They do exactly what they are supposed to do so no complaints. I will say that these things retain their value so well and are in such demand that you cannot buy them cheaper used from an individual. Not on eBay (because of shipping) Home Depot's free shipping on these makes this the best deal and best option for buying these. I have seen them on eBay used for more (including shipping) than brand new ones delivered to your door free. The only slightly annoying part of this purchase was it did not show as 'Shipped' for like a week. I thought they lost the order. Then (without me calling or emailing anything) it showed shipped and it showed up THE NEXT DAY.

These are JD weights at a retail (non-dealer) price. I bought 6 and received free shipping (freight delivered to home). Appear to be cast iron with powder coating. Mine had a JD logo cast into it along with the weight. Came in JD heavy-duty cardboard boxes. HD had these priced quite a bit lower than the dealer. This is a blessing!

Bought these for rear weight on the back of my John Deere 318. Best value around as far as I ever found with Home Depot Free shipping Policy. However the mistake I made was to wait till the dead of winter to order these thus resulting in a shortage of these from manufacture causing almost a 2 month delay. However it was worth the wait!!

The weights fit right on to the front weight bar of my John Deere 2305. I also purchased a Heavy Hitch (for the rear) so these weights will be used for ballast and slipped right on as planned! Great deal when you factor in the free shipping....I bought 6 of these so to have 250lbs shipped for free is great!

Needed to add traction to my John Deere 445 to improve my snow removal capabilities. One of the easiest ways is to add rear weight to the tractor. Purchased attachment to mount the weight from another source, but the shipping cost for six suitcase style weights was extremely high. Located the exact John Deere weights on Home Depot.com. Price was VERY competitive, and the shipping was FREE!. I had the weights in two days delivered to my door, allowing me ample time to get everything installed for the impending winter storm. Just in case anyone out there is wondering, these weights seem to work just fine as front weights on other JD tractors. I had 2 front weights on my JD950, and just added 4 more of these - they are almost the same shape and size, and attach to the same bar to give some needed extra weight on the front.

I live on a mountain with very steep grades. My lawn tractor would not even begin to climb the hills in my yard until I put chains on it and added these weights. Now it just crawls up the hills like they don't exist. Much better traction!!

easy to install ,good price and availability from Home Depot. I bought 6 to go on the back of my X728. Had to get bracket from JD as Depot doesn't carry it.

Quick to clip on and go

I ordered the weights in a pair (2) and paid for two. Only one was delivered. When I contacted Home Depot they told me to take it up with UPS, the delivery service and file a claim. The lading invoice is only for one weight so I'm out of luck there. Obvious mistake by Home Depot but was told their system isn't setup to deal with it, so I'm out of luck and out of $40.
