Runs great nice and quiet cuts good turns tight

This is my first riding lawn mower. I've been using a landscaping service to mow my lawn all these years and finally decided to take it on myself. I was intimidated buying a rider but I've always heard great things about JD so I pulled the trigger. Home Depot delivered it right on time, rolled it into my garage for me and pointed out a few of the key features. They were outstanding. The mower itself is incredible. It's so easy to use and makes mowing the lawn a fun experience. I already can't wait to get back out there and mow it again. Definitely recommend this mower to anyone.

Love my lawn mower, except for the driver of the delivery truck who took down my mailbox and did not even say anything everything else was great.

This mower is the perfect size for my yard. I really like that it came fully assembled. It handles very easily and turns extremely tight.

I've been mowing with a regular push mower and it usually takes me 2 hours to get the whole job done. I gave in this year and got the s100, first mow took me about 45 minutes (.4 mowing hours). I went a little slow at first but once I got more comfortable it was actually a lot of fun. Delivery took 3 attempts, as the mower wasn't ready twice but they don't tell you until 8am that day but it got here and I love it.

We returned it. It had a crack in the hood and the motor was rusted. No key was provided.

Great John Deere quality

I am a long time Owner of John Deere riding mowers. I prefer them over any other brand. Good quality and easy to maintain. I found one major design flaw in this newest one. The rubber padded cylinder that covers the brake pedal is not permanently attached. I used the pedal, it slipped off the metal rod and I slammed my ankle on the metal rod. OUCH! some high quality glue fixed the problem but I shouldn't have to "fix" something that is brand new.

When I needed a new lawnmower I only looked for John Deere. Their reputation is excellent and felt the price I paid was great.

Confusing description of article: it apparently has a 17.5 HP single cylinder engine that is also cordless battery powered. I rather think it is gas powered, but whoever runs the Home Depot website should wake up and do a little proofreading before hitting the “publish” button.  And the search function doesn’t agree in terms of availability — one function shows the store  I would buy it from has eight units, but another search approach says they don’t have any.  Not a professional look for a store by any stretch of the imagination, and makes one wonder what else they manage to foul up in their operations.

Delivery driver should be professional and knowledgeable.

I've always bought John deere and wasn't displeased with this one, have only used for a few things since winter but has met all my expectations. Shipping to my house was the best part. It came shrink wrapped on a.pallet. there was no damage to it or the box with the bagger that I could see. I have inspected it and all was great. It even had the oil already I. It, all I had to do ws add gas.

I am giving 1 star because Home Depot customer service is so bad. I chose delivery and they could only deliver the mower at 8pm. Also the battery was dead. The employees at Home Depot could have cared less.

{..TrueFuel..} in various Metal Cans ...opened good for 2 years - zero "ethanol content" = mandatory instead of E-85 Vehicle Gasoline = perfect for ALL J.D. Mowers!

JUST Have new inner tubes installed....low cost / "permanent" elimination of [Flat Tires] problem.
