Covered a wood colored sunroom ceiling in one coat!

Used Kilz first then painted over with a pretty sky blue. Now I have a pretty she shed/garden shed that is the envy of the neighborhood. Still waiting to finish the side. But I love it!! Thanks to Kilz products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a house that was built in the 70s and it has old wood paneling. We want to paint it but needed something to keep the paneling from bleeding through our paint job. I researched what to use and this was recommended many times. We thought we would need multiple coats because of the black in the paneling but we didn’t!!! See photo with only ONE coat!! 10/10 recommend it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a 100 year old house recently that was covered in old, peeling, wallpaper. After ripping it all off and scraping the glue there was still some residual glue left on the walls. The Kilz went over it no problem and I haven’t had any glue trying to seep through. I used two coats since the walls were completely bare and it’s looking amazing. I can’t wait to get some paint up now. Pictures are before and during some of the glue scraping and then the final result after 2 coats of primer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make and sell Barn Quilts. It is imperative that when I say that my creations are all-weather proof, it needs to be so! I can count on Kills to prime the wood and protect the wood so I can paint it and it can hang outside through all weather.

We have about a dozen knots in the shelves that the Kilz All purpose can’t conceal. But this is what was recommended by the paint specialist at the store.

We put a coat of Kilz 20 All-Purpose Interior / Exterior on the hutch after lightly sanding the sheen . This made applying the paint very easy . We were very pleased with the final product . I would recommend Kilz Products for any job you tackle . I’m sure you will love the finished product .

In dealing with different materials with different rates of absorption- like my father in law always said, “the primer adheres to the surface, the paint adheres to the primer” and he is 100% correct. Used KILZ as the primer for our NBYG youth group’s BEST OF SHOW- MAYOR’S CUP award winning Christmas Parade float to transform a custom-built wood/metal sleigh into a ‘JURASSIC PARK’ themed vehicle to get the most loveable dinosaur, Barney, to bring JOY to the kids young and old lining the route for the Murfreesboro, TN Christmas Parade.

Urine, feces, food, vomit, pet odors, tobacco odors and stains on ALL CEILING AND WALLS! Definitely the epitome of a bad previous owner/tenant! After tearing out 2 layers of padding and carpets, the stains and stench was EVERYWHERE! Spots still wet still. Air drying and then wipe down of walls with TSP, then 2 or 3 coats of KILZ 2, LATEX. on the ceilings and walls and on floors. The stench and stains are gone!!! I'm a professional, I'm a general contractor. Been in trades long time, worked with many guys. Some love KILZ, others love competition brand. But after having used KILZ myself, on every one of my jobs ( that's many, I've lost count)! I'm a LOYAL KILZ user, and will continue to be! Please do not change the formula used in your products, as it is INCREDIBLY GREAT!! THANKS AGAIN, from a professional contractor. John M

One of the rooms did not have much overhead lighting and a dark red accent wall. The KILZ primer completely covered the coloring and allowed us to lighten up the room.
