I have had this item for a week now, works well, cleans easy, functions as expected, is sturdy and looks great. I am happy.

Nice faucet for the price range. Outlet looks great, feels like plastic. Handles are good.

The contemporary look and the Kohler name are the reasons I purchased this faucet set, but was disappointed in the quality. The hot water faucet was defective and we had to replace it. The base plate is of much thinner material than expected and the faucets are too close to the spout.

It broke during installation. I paid a premium for this lack of quality.

Kohler quality of design and finish. We bought three. It's a beautiful faucet for our master bath and our guest bath. Install is easy but directions lack DIY details. The flex water lines can kink, so be careful. Make sure you wrap pipe thread plumbers tape on all metal-to-metal connects or you will find leaks. When finished we were concerned about the slow water flow. Take out the plastic disc inside the faucet filter and you're good.

The faucet itself was a bit wobbly, and this is the only reason I didn't give it a higher rating. It installed easily enough with no problems. But when I buy, install, and use a faucet, I expect it to be solid. This wasn't solid. I like the overall design and appearance. The high faucet provides extra room to wash without touching the faucet. The arching curve so that the faucet points down keeps the water from dripping back onto the sink's upper surface where it would pool and leave calcium deposits that are a pain to clean up.

The faucet is a standout. It's large design works well with a large sink/vanity/bathroom. I love the modern design and that the sink stopper is somewhat hidden. Brushed nickel does require a wipe down to insure water spots don't show up, especially if you have hard water.

Beautiful chrome. Nice update to a dated bathroom.

Bought 3; installed a few months ago. They work ok, but feel cheap/lightweight; and the finish shows water spots--badly (looks speckled all the time).

My licensed plumber installed the faucet, did a good job. I inspected everything before he left and everything seemed fine. It is a beautiful looking faucet and looks great on my new vanity, HOWEVER, After awhile the actual high arc faucet which is attached to the base can move back and forth on the base. I am afraid that in time this high arc faucet will become looser and looser and finally break. I am disap.ointed in this kohler alteo 4" center set faucet. It did not meet my expectation. I am a senior and live alone and did not abuse this faucet in any way. Sorry I purchased this particular kohler faucet. I have purchased kohler faucets in the past and have had no problems with them

Ordered this online twice, 2 times, both times I was shipped previously installed and returned items.

Left (hot) handle not as tight as the right. Spout has a slight wobble.

Great fit and finish, smooth action and the integrated lines make installation simpler. Made in the USA too.

Purchased two faucets and liked them so much bought two more for other bathroom. Very pretty and classy.

the unit was defective, and does not stop the cold water. Double cost of installation, about $250 loss

Very light weight - afraid it won't last the long time I expect from the Kohler brand. We have been very loyal to Kohler since we purchased our home, and each time we buy a new Kohler product or replace a part the quality seems to go down. Time will tell.

Pros: Attractive faucet, looks to be well built, easy to install. Cons: The supply lines which are supplied are a nice addition. However they are to short for my installation which is a standard size sink cabinet. As a result, I assume most DYI installers will have the same problem. Cost me $34.00 for supply line extensions. Koehler needs to add about 4 inches to their supply lines or leave them off and lower their price accordingly.

Another fine example of why I buy Kohler products! Looks great, works great!

A replacement for a powder room remodel. A very simple install, the most difficult part was removing the old drain. Start to finish 20 minutes. Remember to get some plumbers putty to set the drain. Very clean look, excellent function, love how the faucet comes out further into the sink bowl. Delivered quickly. Highly recommend.

This faucet was installed to upgrade the look of a guest bathroom. It looks great and functions great, with high water pressure, and the installation was an easy do it yourself undertaking. Very happy with this faucet.

I had my contractor install this on my pedestal sink. I love it!!!
