They are lower than the sink and there is a drawer in each. The hardware is quiet and when the drawer is pushed it will lightly close itself. The tops on the bridges are stone with cream colors mixed in... we got lucky and one of them has a large dark veining that runs across 1/3 of it and I love that!
The drawer knobs that came with them are very nice, solid black, but too dark for what I was wanting. I got some sea glass knobs from HD clearance and they look great.
There are only 2 legs included and can be installed on the right or left, depending which side of the vanity you are placing it... and it isn't meant to stand alone. Make sure you completely adjust the screw, under each foot, to the height needed before attaching it to the vanity and wall. We had to remove the right side bridge, raise the front leg and reattach it (our mistake). If you choose to put the bridge between 2 vanities, you won't need to install the legs. Be careful not to tip the unit or balance it on the edge of the legs, they do not have a strong enough connection for pressure or weight at that angle.
This is a beautiful addition to our bathroom and I would recommend this item.
