Happy with the toilets but wish there were instructions related to the flow regulator in the fill valveI just installed 2 of these toilets and overall they have been great so far. When installing the first one I noticed that the tank filled very slowly (like 7 minutes) after flushing and the bowl barely had any water in it. If I turned up the main water valve to the toilet, the fill valve would stop filling and make a loud howling sound. After about 2.5 hours of troubleshooting I discovered on the Fluidmaster website that there is a rubber flow regulator in the bottom of the fill valve that you can simply remove with needle nose pliers. Maybe this is common knowledge to some but it wasn't to me. Had there been a simple note and/or diagram about this in the instructions it would've saved me a lot of time and frustration. Also, on this flow regulator in the picture there wasn't a plastic piece on the end like there was on the other toilet, maybe that's why it stopped filling when the water pressure was increased. I assume this plastic piece keeps the regulator from pushing into and blocking the fill valve pipe. Either way, I removed both and the toilets work great! One area that could use improvement are the 3 screws/rubber gaskets that attach the tank to the base, these seem like future leak points and took a little coddling to make sure they didn't leak during installation.
