Purchased this for our bathroom renovation. Upgraded from a previous non heated or drying bidet. This seat is WONDERFUL! It does look a little big on our Kohler toilet so we may replace our toilet but the seat is such a great upgrade. It opens up when we walk into the bathroom, starts heating the seat and commences the deodorizing fan to kill off odors. The remote is straight forward to use. I think everyone needs to own one of these. I've told my friends about it. Excellent purchase!

Surprise Surprise, we were amazed at how quickly this bidet seat became a necessity. This was our first bidet seat, and we were not disappointed! This bidet seat works very well, and it is easy to use, once you have used it a few times. Definitely recommend the remote control, which allows you to position the controls in a convenient location. Don't try using the remote by holding it in your hand, it is to sensitive, and will not work as intended. The remote needs to be mounted to the wall, then only lightly touch the control buttons. The adjustability of the cleansing wand, the comfort of the heated toilet seat, heated water, and air dry blower are all great features. The toilet seat will raise up as you approach it. This is a very good product. This seat did not fit on our existing one piece elongated toilet. We purchased a 2 piece toilet that it fits well (American Standard Town Square S Elongated Chair Height). We like this so much, we are planning to add a second Novita bidet seat in another bathroom. The old way of "handling" things just seems so primitive . . .

I bought my Kohler Novita BH-90 Plastic Elongated Bidet Seat in November 2018 and still use it several times daily as recently as yesterminute! I had shoulder surgery scheduled for 26 December 2018 and asked my wife if she was willing to help me with a problem I was likely to have after the surgery. Prior to her first blink, she told me that she was either unwilling to provide the assistance I required or that she was planning to be out of the country on a trip she had yet to plan or schedule. Naturally, after considering a short list of solutions to my problem. a bidet presented itself as a remedy that would make her travel unnecessary. I found my Kohler Novita BH-90 Plastic Elongated Bidet Seat on line at Home Depot... ON SALE! I bought it, installed it after an electrician I hired installed an GFC outlet near the toilet. It was easy to install and worked well immediately. Because I'm a graduate of a New England high school and know how to read, the installation directions were easy to follow. I did so. I use the bidet-seat's remote control when I am in my bathroom office! Double tap the upper left hand button on the remote and the bidet does what it does that I need to be done! One can use the remote control to adjust the temperatures of the water and the seat, and to adjust the pressure and the oscillation features of the wand when it does what it does for two-minutes or less. One can control how far the nozzle extends before it does what it does; you might think of this feature as an entertainment option. The blue light in the seat mechanics is controlled only by a control pad that is part of the seat itself. The seat cover and donut ring can be set to open automatically when the motion detector on the bidet-seat is triggered by your presence. This feature was welcome until it started to open and close every once in a while without anyone present in the middle of the night. So, that was/is a malfunction but I simply disabled the option and have learned to live without it. I'll never be without a bidet!

Installing on some Koehler toilets needs some extra attention. See the attached pictures. The installer may have to use the original screws from the toilet set if the nuts are inserted in the base. The Koehler Bidet is a great bathroom appliance and had not have any problems since install. I also used Velcro to install the remote on the wall instead of the supplied adhesive pads. It saves my wall if I want to paint my wall later

The Novita seat was much easier to install than I thought it would be. The hardest part was wiring a new outlet next to my toilet, but I had an outlet on the other side of the wall that I just pigtailed into. It was done in about 30 minutes. Installing the seat itself didn't require any tools. The instructions are very barebones, but the remote is pretty intuitive. My 3-year-old knows how to use the kids wash, the dryer, and how to turn it off. And the bidet seems to have an endless supply of warm water. Good product.

I bought and installed the Novita Bidet Seat on a one-piece Kohler toilet. The Kohler installation video was excellent and made the installation process both easy and quick. It took some time (a few days!) to get the knack of operating the bidet functions efficiently. I had surgery on my right shoulder a few weeks ago that seriously limited the use of my right hand. Prior to that surgery my beautiful wife told me she was unwilling "to go where no man (or woman) had gone before" during my recovery from surgery. I know now that the Novita bidet seat does a better job of matter removal than my wife could ever have done had she chosen to accommodate my needs. My choice to have a bidet seat was driven by an actual need for help. That said, I think I should have had a bidet seat installed years ago if only to have erased skid marks, the conspicuous artifacts of inefficiency in my elimination protocols. Dr. R.F. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll start by saying how easy this was to install. My 12 year old son installed it all himself, it even came with batteries for the remote. Yes you read that correctly... remote...for my toilet seat! I never would've dreamed I would feel the need for such a fancy toilet seat but now I could never dream living without it! Two words first off....seat warmer! I could leave it at that but so much more. I am a woman with 3 sons and a husband. The motion sensor lid or lid and seat lifter is worth it's weight in gold! No more touching the lid to put it down for me anymore or falling in, in the middle of the night! The bidet is great, especially for a toddler who is learning to clean himself after going, it helps with the job. It's very sturdily made and I believe would last a long time.

The Home Depot ad photos show this whole unit as white, however this has a stainless steel bar on the top of the seat- not at alll as pictured or described! Quite disappointed. Google the product to get the real picture.

This is the finest unit on the market for home installation and use. We have purchased this unit many years ago and recently moved to a new residence. We owed it to ourselves to have a new bidet for our new apartment.

I would give it a 5, but can’t get the night light to come on at night. Followed instructions in manual but still not coming on. Wife giving me grief because the old Koehler seat had a night light. HELP!

This should be a standard in ever home. So happy with this purchase.

It is a second time we are buying the same model. Original lasted for 7 years. Very good quality and very easy to replace, it fits the same original seat bracket!!!! Not even house to replace. Thank you, KOHLER! Keep it up!!!!!!!

I am glad I had to carry it all the way from California to Edmonton Alberta, Canada. Canadian Home Depot don’t carry that particular model. It sure fits my needs perfectly ! VT

The design is excellent and we were excited to get it installed BUT it doesn’t fit due the curvature of the 1-piece toilet. The seat just won’t sit far enough back on the toilet to sit correctly. I, unfortunately, will be retunring this.

This is a replacement of another brand. Super good deal on price. Other than remote is a little quirky, I find it to be a great bathroom asset.

This is our second bidet and don’t know how we did without them all these years. Love them.

Returned for refund when Home Depot declined to price match Costco for $125 less. The local manager tried, he called corporate but was told they don’t price match Costco. Sad, we have spent thousands renovating out home using Home Depot. We would have purchased two with price match. Home Depot now has returned Bidet that very few people will be interested in. Strange business decisions for Home Depot. that extra $125 buys groceries these days. Best wishes

Crazy the cooler doesn’t provide the rights to the screws for the toilet seat you purchase with a toilet it’s been three weeks and still have been able to get the right screws to install the toilet seat

Got it 2 months ago. Couldn’t be more happy with the Bidet and it’s features. Fast shipping, high quality and easy to install. Easy to understand operating instructions. My wife likes it, too.

I finally got my new toilets installed and the plumber put the toliet seat on then had to get the electric outlet installs so now I’m very happy with this bidet .

Love our new Novita Bidet Seat. It is so nice to have the cover raise and the seat be toasty warm. We are not happy that we paid $600 and our cleansing wand operates in reverse. The "bidet" should be a rear wash - it's not - it washes front. The "cleansing" should be a front wash but it washes rear. The seat functions but not the way the instructions say it should.

I have had four different bidets through the years and this is by far the most comfortable and has the best features.

The bidet works beautifully, however the remote control is overly complex and when you pick it up you inadvertently push buttons to open and close the toilet lid. And the wall holder is too difficult to put the remote in and take it out of without dropping it on the floor. We put the remote in a different holder and overcame the dropping problem.

Well designed unlike highly defective leading brands. More generous seat and features. Auto open a big plus. Remote bit confusing with no instructions. works well. Sensible priced.

Absolutely love all the great features - the only shortcoming is that it’s not a sittable lid but it works wonderfully. Once you have something like this at home its like going back to the stone ages sitting on a regular commode.

The light doesn’t work and it’s nearly impossible to read the remote controllee.
