Looks great! Worked great for about a year
Pass on this one. It was great for about 8 months. Worked well, good pressure, and the motion detector worked. Then the motion sensor started skipping every once in a while. Nothing concerning. At about a year the switch started to glitch out and not fully engage either mode without constant pressure. Called Kohler and it has a very strict 1 year warranty. Faucet is now completely non-functional until I can find the replacement parts. $400+ garbage, not making this mistake again.

Great Initially, Not After 3 Years
At first this faucet was great. Easy to install and the sensor worked fine. A few months ago, the sensor stopped working when we had hot water running. We had to turn it off with the handle. Kohler sent us a new control unit. It was going to take a plumber to install. We may just turn off the sensor at the defective control unit I'm glad we didn't get around to calling a plumber because the sprayer started acting up. The button that switches it from stream to spray doesn't stay in position so it puts out a little of both, neither are strong enough. We have tried cleaning it with CLR in case it was due to buildup but no luck. They are now sending us another spray head. If this doesn't work, we'll call a plumber to replace it with another brand. I expect better from Kohler. This faucet wasn't cheap and to have two needed repairs and the expense of a plumber after less than 3 years is ridiculous.

Very sleek and modern, love that it's motion detection activated when you place your hand under it. My only grip is that the cable isn't provided to plug it in to an outlet. Batteries are provided instead. Such a high price, you would expect the cable to come included. Instead you have to go on the Kohler website and purchase it separately for like $25 or so. Overall though, very pleased with functionality and looks.

        Faulty product design
Setra faucet itself is beautiful: love that the magnetic sprayer snaps back into place, nice swivel spout, and the soap dispenser is a plus (though built to be super loose). Unfortunately, the faucet does not actually function well. Not sure why others have not mentioned this in past reviews, though maybe Kohler recently changed their product design. But the water pressure is extremely low (pencil-thin stream). A plumber installed the faucet and we immediately saw leaks in not only the valve located in the handle, but also in the supply lines. My plumber was able to stop the leaks, but then we noticed a severe lack in water pressure even when handle turned up to max. We thought it could be the valve or sprayer head – which Kohler sent us replacements for both but neither worked. I ended up ordering a full 2nd faucet thinking mine was just faulty. Still same issue….. Plumber ultimately discovered it is a problem with the part highlighted in the photo attached. The faucet is manufactured in a way that the hole in the supply line to sprayer head is very small, which does not allow for water to come out more than a thin stream. Spent a lot of money on a plumber for what will be 3 faucet installations, I am not happy. Will be returning BOTH faucets and purchasing another brand.

Great touch-less faucet and soap dispenser reasonably priced. I'm using the power adapter instead of batteries after reading many reviews stating that the batteries wore out within 3-6 months. The pull down glides easily and the black finish and high height make this a great addition.

We really enjoy how responsive our new Kohler Setra faucet is to motion. The new Kohler Setra is much more responsive faucet than previousLet owned Kohler motion faucets. The chrome finish is blinding, just as a higher-end Kohler chrome finish should be. I recommend this faucet Kohler Setra if in your budget.

Easy to install. The side mount lever gets in the way of mounting soap dispenser if you install in typical 3 hole mounting with soap dispenser to right of faucet. The sensor has more time delay than the touch H2O by Delta. but you do not need to touch. It would be awesome if the sensor "looked" forward more or goose neck was larger radius - I find with wet hands the water drips near to faucet base wetting the back of sink. Still better than other faucets that have sensor mounted to side of faucet which will guarantee water dripping near faucet when deactivating wave with wet dripping hands. The pull out sprayer aerator goes in and out smoothly (maybe a little aggressive on the retraction) The delta H2O used magnet for pull out spray to snap in place and magnet rusted withing first 6 months.

Awesome so far. Make sure you have a GFCI plug under your sink (not the Garbage Disposal one that is switched).
The touchless feature is really good. I did setup Amazon Alexa, but I'm not sure this is really useful overall - we'll see on that. However, it's very good looking and works well. A little tougher install if you need to install a new plug like I did. I had a direct connect dishwasher and converted that to a GFCI outlet. The device doesn't use much power. The electronics part of the system make install a little more complicated. The mounting bracket for the wall didn't come with screws to attach to wall (by design). So, make sure you have two screws around for that. Directions weren't so good when it comes to mounting the electric part to the wall. I guess they must figure most will pay for the install. See my pic if you need a reference point.

First time using this product but I found it to be a straightforward install--very easy if you've done faucet installations in the past. The head is easily retractable and has two spray options (spray and stream). The reach is more than adequate. This unique faucet has a sensor that allows you to remain hands free and still turn on the water--fantastic when you have your hands full! I found the phone app associated with this product to be rather lackluster and it left me unsatisfied and frustrated since it doesn't work that well. There is supposed to be "experiences" and voice recognition via the app but I found this to fall far short of any reasonable expectations one would have these days with any Bluetooth device. From a faucet functionality perspective, however, it's a great faucet. I love the overall quality and design. If you're interested in it primarily for the ability to "talk to it" then you may be disappointed. Other than that I think it's a great product.

This is a beautiful faucet; from the moment you open the box you are amazed. At first it looks a little overwhelming to install but the company could not have made it easier. It is important that you check to make sure you have a plug under your sink. If not you will need to get an electrician to install one. I cover the install in the video. It is a smart faucet with connect and voice capabilities. I got the black one, but it comes in silver as well. I really like the height of the faucet gives you plenty of room for large pots. It has a motion censer that allows you to turn the water on and off. This is nice especially if your hands are dirty. All you have to do is wave underneath the faucet and the water will turn on and wave again and it turns off. If you have google home or Alexa in your home you can control the faucet by your voice. You can even specify a specific amount of water and the faucet will come on and pour that amount. That is amazing. Even though I just installed it I can tell my wife is going to enjoy it for many years to come. I must admit is like the faucet more than I thought.

Touchless faucets are not just fancy. They are water saving and more sanitary than regular faucets. Just imagine that your hands are full of raw chicken. You want to remove chicken, etc. from your fingers. That's when you wave at the friendly faucet. There's no bacteria transfer to the faucet, when you turn it on and off. And as far as water savings, you are more likely to shut off the faucet when you are not using it. Especially if you don't have to shut it off manually. This particular faucet has the sensor built into the underside of the gooseneck part of the faucet. This location of the sensor reduces the likelihood that you will drip stuff on the base of the faucet. Many touchless faucets have the sensor on the left side of faucet. Usually they seem to be approximately 6 inches up from the base. This, of course, allows drips from your hand to drip on the faucet base, while activating the faucet. Anyway, I feel that the sensor location, and the touchless capability are selling points for this faucet. It looks extremely nice. The faucet has two types of spray patterns. The regular pattern is nice and aerated. The second pattern has multi-multiple nozzles that spray out in a linear pattern, (as opposed to a round pattern). It helps when guiding stuff off the sink, etc. It also stays in whatever mode you leave it, when shutting off the faucet. Some of the competitors faucets reviews say that the spray pattern reverts back to the original pattern. The faucet also comes with a soap dispenser. It's a nice looking dispenser, that dispenses over the sink. This way, should the soap dispenser ever start dripping, it will do it in the sink instead of staining the granite countertop. Kohler is one of the higher end faucets. I went for Kohler because of the reliability and reputation that Kohler is known for. As far as the install ease, it is theoretically easy because much of the assembly that is done, is done with push together fittings. The nuts that you cinch down the faucet with, twist onto the faucet. And there are also bolts coming up from the underside of the nut that screw into the nut to fine tune the tightness of the mounted faucet. This eases the installation of the faucet. There are 2 weaknesses to the faucet. The first issue will affect all of the faucets that are similar in shape and function. You need to make sure that the location of the parts underneath are out of the way of the "Pull out water spraying nozzle". If you don't, it will make it difficult to pull and retract the hose. Once the hose is inserted completely, it gets held in very nice position, with a magnet. The second issue, will not affect everyone. The soap dispenser is designed to be installed to the right of the faucet. Since I didn't want to drill another hole in the granite countertop, I installed it in an existing hole. The hole was unfortunately under the faucet base. I overcome this by cutting a hole into the left side of the faucet base. This hole lined up with an existing hole in the granite countertop. This allowed me to install the soap dispenser between the main faucet and the water filter faucet. FYI, this would not be a good place to install the soap dispenser, if there was a sensor on the left side of the faucet. The water would turn on and off, each time I used the soap dispenser. The faucet also has a problem with staying in whatever position you want it to. The hose doesn't twist inside the gooseneck. I just aligned it to return to a good position. Good luck! This is a very nice option to consider.

Great kitchen faucet upgrade. We really like the touch-less operation. As if simply waving a hand wasn't easy enough, you can use ALEXA or Google Assistant to operate the faucet BY VOICE. Too cool. Installation is slightly more complicated than a standard faucet, but still doable by a DIY homeowner...for the most part (more on that in a bit). Materials are of reasonable quality and MOST of what you need to do the installation is included. Aside from your installation tools (Phillips screwdriver, crescent wrench) you'll need water supply lines and two screws to mount the electronics box. Really? They couldn't include TWO SCREWS to mount the electronics box? It's not a huge deal, just odd. Directions for installation is fairly straight forward, it's just a pain crawling into kitchen cabinets. The only part of the installation that most homeowners would not be able to do is get the appropriate power to the electronics box. You do need access to NON SWITCHED standard household power. If you have a garbage disposal, you likely have an outlet under the sink for it. That outlet is typically switched to a switch box on the wall near your sink (assuming your sink isn't on an island). The faucet needs to have access to power CONSTANTLY or all your setup information will be lost. Most home owners will have to have an electrician run the required line and install an outlet (or simply unplug their disposal and leave the outlet switched on).

We really like this well made faucet. The finish is exactly that which fits into the color scheme and was as easy to install as any considering that you're working on you back, reaching up into a rather confined space. It really did go pretty well. Fortunately we do have an in-cabinet outlet that we could use for the power. We are still working on getting it set-up the Google account but the hand-free design is great. You will notice the light on the handle, ready for use. Wave a hand under the gooseneck and the water turns on or off. Can also be over-ridden by the handle. Nice water flow, good spray action. Good faucet!

Hands-free washing is a nice upgrade in my kitchen and voice command is convenient. The Kohler Serta faucet included most of my wishlist list for a faucet. It also included some features I did not think I needed. The matte black is beautiful and fits my kitchen perfectly. Having a matching soap dispenser is handy since getting an exact match is so difficult to find. The fan spray option is a nice surprise that I’m glad the faucet has. Installation was difficult when I tried to follow the instructions that came in the box. Skip those instructions and go straight to an online search with videos. The app is easy to install, but not the easiest to work with. I managed to install with Apple Home, but amazon Alexa was a no go. Maybe it’s best due to privacy’s issues. My main problem is the small size of the faucet in a large/open concept kitchen. However, the features are nice and work very well.

There are a couple flaws that keep this faucet from being really great. The first is that steam and hot water trigger the faucet to go on and off. If you are washing dishes with hot water, the steam from the hot water will trigger the motion detection and turn your water off while you are still trying to use it. Likewise, if you are draining pasta into the sink, the steam from the pasta sets off the motion every time and the faucet has blasted my freshly cooked pasta with cold water. That certainly isn't great. The second issue is that the voice commands won't let you dispense partial cups. You can't do 3/4 of a cup or a cup and a half. If your water pressure is a bit weak, the measurements won't be very accurate either. My faucet dispenses slightly less than a cup when I ask it for 1 cup. I couldn't find an easy command to get the faucet to work either. It got it to work, but it became a bit wordy. I would have to say, "Alexa, ask Kohler to dispense one cup" or "Alexa, ask Kohler to turn on Kitchen Faucet." The integration with Alexa wasn't 100%. You would have to specify "Kohler" for it to work. The installation is definitely something you can DIY, but it is much more involved than the standard faucet installation. The wiring you need to do is simple and is similar to plugging computer power supply connections into a motherboard. Other than the above two issues, the faucet works well and as intended.

This is a remarkable touchless smart faucet that is feature-laden and takes some getting used to, compared to standard kitchen faucets. It works at your spoken command and can turn on water or even fill a container to a specific level by just speaking to it, if you’re connected on your internet and smartphone. It pairs with Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Apple Home Kit. It has touchless on/off with a wave of your hand or an object. **Siri can be used on your Apple devices but is limited to on/off control. It requires a non-switched undercounter AC outlet. The KOHLER Konnect app can monitor water usage and be you can be notified of unusual flow. I do like the chrome fit and finish and the feel of the single lever control. I like that everything is included for the installation, including two check valves for the water supply lines. The faucet can be installed on sinks with one, three or four holes. The smart features can be bypassed if needed with a twist of a shaft in the manifold, which will come in handy during power outages and phone or internet failure. The choice of water spray is aerated, or a unique Sweep® spray pattern as shown in the photos. The tall goose neck design makes it easy to fill tall pots in shallow sinks. Let’s talk about the things I don’t like. You’ll need to be constantly connected to your home internet and smartphone to get the advantages of “smart” features or to get any water to turn on. The pull-down water hose is sheathed in braided nylon rather than braided steel as with other makers, so I question it’s longevity. The instructions are not very clear and recommends that you mount the retaining collar screws to the front and back of the mounting hole, which may place the screws directly on the weld which connected the two sink tubs we were installing, which I do not recommend. It is very expensive! Overall, this is a very high-end feature packed product that will please many modern homeowners.

Looks nice, and fairly easy to install. Had more trouble getting our 30 year old faucet out than installing this one. Be sure you have an outlet under the sink to utilize its features. And it need to be an outlet not on a switch like your garbage disposal. Easy to connect to the phone app, but did have a little trouble getting it connected to our echo dot, which you will need to take advantage of all of the features. Would be nice if there was a battery backup in case the power is out, otherwise you will need to go under the sink and turn a valve to operate as a standard faucet. No deal breaker, just a hassle, especially on a faucet at this price point.

The Kohler faucet is beautifully crafted out of brass and has a high quality chrome finish. The technology that this faucet has is what peeked my interest. Having the ability to turn on the faucet with just a wave and or voice control is so cool. Reminds me of my growing up with the Jetsons. I will have to install an outlet in the cabinet but that will not be a problem since there is power already there for the disposal and dishwasher. The faucet comes with plenty of hose length and wiring to work with as seen in the picture below. The faucet is compatible with the Google Assistant, AlexaI and Apple HomeKit. personally do not want to utilize the Alexa or the Google devices if I do not have to since I prefer to use Apple. I have not used the Apple Homekit yet and not sure how but I will download the app and check it out. I am also going to see if I can use my Google assistant on my Android phone.

Alright, a couple of things here... 1 the matte black looks absolutely incredible; our home has a lot of oil rubbed bronze and it actually works really well with our set up. Secondly, installing this thing yourself is doable but can be tough but MAKE SURE if you hire a plumber; that they have experience installing smart/touchless faucets as it is a bit different. Overall we are super happy - we were able to figure out how much our dog bowl is for water and can just ask the faucet how much we need! Very cool.

Five stars for style! Beautiful and functional. You can't help but be proud of this kitchen necessity. The machining or the parts is second to none. The polish on the chrome finish is absolutely gorgeous. Touch free faucet not only is convenient, its sanitary too. I’ve installed many types of touchless faucets at work and in home(s). My main reason is people young and old, forget to turn them off. If you ask, they also tell you they don’t like touching things in public bathrooms. The idea of sanitary use can be extended into the kitchen. Imagine prepping chicken or other food items. Cross contamination can be lessened or eliminated. When I have hands covered in dough, sauces, etc., all I do is approach the faucet and it returns to the last setting I had at full stream. The counterweight attached under the sink to the pull-out hose does a fantastic job reeling in the hose after a quick spray. The push button on the nozzle changes it from normal stream to power spray. It limits the water flow to 1.5 gallons per minute (great for water conservation). I really like the ceramic valve guts. Just like my hot tub pumps, it extends its life and works trouble free. Even a novice can install this with a few tools. If you can remove the sink, it’s the easier to install, but can be done from under the cabinet. If you are limber its easy to install with the sink in place. I prefer to remove the sink, add the faucet and reinstall the sink. I know it seems like a lot of extra work, but, for me this is easier. Only bad thing about changing this was removing my great manual Kohler faucet. (I’m sure to find a home for it as it is built to last). If desired, the battery powered box can be swapped for a plug-in adapter (AC powered) or removed totally for traditional manual operation. The soap/lotion dispenser is a tad cheap but looks nice with its chromed plastic body. Not a deal breaker. It is easy to refill from the top of the sink just by removing the pump.

The installation was very easy and I like the option you have to purchase an adapter for the hands free option instead of using 6 AA batteries, but those are included which is really nice. The faucet actually will turn off on its own if the water has been running for awhile which is a great feature to have. Very easy installation, didn't really even need the instructions although they do come in handy. I would purchase this faucet again, no issues with install or none thus far. Great quality.

This is our second one as we liked the original we installed in a vacation property. I made an attempt to pull out our old faucet at our current home but ran into a few problems, so I have someone coming out to replace my valves first. The function of the motion activation is handy when trying to turn the water on and off with wet or dirty hands. Also great when trying to wash your hands as well. The other nice feature is the inclusion of a Soap Dispenser as we currently had our sprayer which is not incorporated into the faucet.
