We take pride in our designs and are disappointed that your experience has been less than exceptional. The rust that you are seeing in your basin would be a surface rust and can be easily removed by using Bar Keepers Friend MORE spray and Foam Cleaner. Apply the cleaner with a nonabrasive cloth or sponge, working with, not across, the drain. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry all surfaces after cleaning. We suggest applying a stainless steel cleaner/polish (such as Bar Keeper's Friend) with a nonabrasive cloth or sponge, working with, not across, the grain. We do not recommend the use of steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive sponge pads. Use only non-scratch cleaning pads. We recommend cleaning stainless steel at least once a week. Allowing water to evaporate on metal will form water deposits. To avoid this and keep your product looking beautiful, it is important to wipe the sink clean with a soft cloth after each use.
