I use ratchet strap tie downs quite often around the garage or in the Van. They are the fastest and easiest way to secure loads and cargo. These ratchet strap tie downs from Keeper come in a two pack. Like most ratchet tie downs they come with vinyl coated S hooks on each end. The webbing on these straps are 1 inch wide with a break strength of 1500 lbs. giving them a working load limit of 500 lbs. What sets these ratchet tie down straps apart from others is the fact that the ratcheting mechanisms and handle are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel.

In testing out these keeper 1 in by 12 ft ratchet straps I found that the handle for the ratchet is bigger than most. This gives more finger space to move latches when releasing tension. I found these more comfortable than most others I've used and have nice size hook's to grab most items. With the ratchet being stainless steel shouldn't be a problem with rust. The Leverage that you get with the handle inch and a half webbing might have been nice but most jobs you would use these for wouldn't be required

These straps work great for securing sheet goods to my trailer. They are long enough to secure anything I hall with the sides removed with the straps running the long way down the trailer. With a 500 pound limit, they are more then strong enough to secure anything I hall. They will even work with the front on, though are just a little short if I have the tailgate in. The ratcheting mechanism has nice big handles that you can use even with gloves on. Great for Wisconsin winters. These straps are going to see a lot of use. I would have liked to be able to use the package to store the straps in, but I ended up destroying it to get the straps out. The instructions to use the straps unfold on the back of the package. But they are not removable from the package. Oh well, it is not like I need them.

At twelve feet these tie-downs are just the right size for securing many of the loads such as fruit tree prunings, furniture, or appliances that I often haul in my full size pickup, and that is primarily what I use them for, but they are versatile and I find myself using them for other, non-transportation purposes as well. For example they make perfectly satisfactory clamping straps for gluing up large wood working projects when I don't have a bar clamp that is long enough. (See photos.) In fact two of these can take the place of four large bar clamps. I find these clamp's ratchets easier than most clamps of this size to use, especially to release a load that has been tightened down hard, primarily because of the leverage and position of the release.

At twelve feet long they are long enough for all your needs. The straps have a load rating of 500 hundred pounds. Don't buy the cheap straps they arent worth it. Buy these keeper straps. Ratchet-type webbing straps work great; this version is the best I have used. My review is based on decades of property mgmt experiences where we used this type of tie-down strap frequently. Using a ratchet strap far exceeds rope, which has to be tied and untied - which always takes too long, inevitably move during transit and loosen. My challenge with other ratchet fasteners is during the release process. (They all work great when you tighten the load.) There is a release bar that lessens the tension on the strap, which you first pull up to release pressure on the strap in order to remove it. On my earlier straps, it is small and therefore difficult to release under pressure. This product is different. It is a large release bar with an attached finger pull. It works great, allowing an easy way to release the pressure on the tensioned strap. Next, there is a pull handle to tighten the strap. Other products just have a piece of flat metal, which is used as a handle to tighten the strap. The stainless steel pull bar is the high end version - I love it. As to the strap, it is imprinted with WLL 500 LBS or working load limit. You are not going to wonder ever what is the breaking strength of this strap. They are sold in pairs. These are now my Go To straps.

The Keeper 1 inch X 12 foot stainless steel ratchet tie down (2 pack) are a must have when you are transporting anything that needs to be secured. Unlike bungie cords, these tie-down straps stay secure and tight to prevent your items being transported from moving around. They have a nice wide handle on the ratchet, making them easier to use, and the fact that they are stainless steel, they will not rust like regular steel ratchets over time. The Keepers are easy to use and store. The straps are rated for up to 500 lbs. These are my favorite tie-downs and I highly recommend them. If the straps get dirty, you can clean the whole thing, ratchet and all, in a bucket of soapy water, rinse with fresh water and hang them up to dry.

These KEEPER 1 IN. X 12 FT. STAINLESS STEEL RATCHET TIE DOWN straps are exactly what I need for my trailer and boating needs. I occasionally build playhouses and need a tie down method for transporting. I also have a small boat sold here at The Home Depot that I carry on my trailer. These are the perfect length for my use and the stainless steel construction will last a longer time verses powder coated tie downs. These type of tie downs can be used in many applications and are offered in various sizes. I am amazed at the quality and functionality these offer. A nice product.

THESE TIE DOWN RATCHETS are made of STAINLESS STEEL and are very sturdy. The straps are one inch wide and are twelve feet long. The hooks on the ends have a plastic coating for scratch resistance for your furnishings. Once installed, they ratchet down tightly to hold everything in place. Since they are stainless steel, they won’t rust if they get wet. Very nice.
