[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this awesome Kidde Battery-Powered Electrochemical Carbon Monoxide Detector and feel very protected now! I have had a Kidde Smoke Alarm for the past 10+ years and have been very satisfied with its performance. I got this carbon monoxide detector to add to the protection and it was a breeze to install. It has a digital display, a peak level memory, along with a Sealed Lithium Battery. I really like that the Kidde Worry-Free Carbon Monoxide Alarm has a 10 year warranty! The included User Guide is really easy to understand and contains complete instructions for installation. This detector has a Peak Level Memory that notifies of a CO event in the last 14 days. I highly recommend this Kidde CO detector!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device is really quite impressive to me! Not only can it be hung on the wall but it can also be placed on a table top! This is very easy to set up and battery is included! A 10 YEAR battery! That is incredible to me. When testing it is extremely loud! If you have an alert to move to clean air you will notice it because it is loud! Which is exactly how it should be when you health is at risk! I couldn’t be happier!

Easy to install, in fact we used the mounting holes from the previous carbon monoxide detector to install this. It cost pretty much exactly twice as much has the Kidde detector with replaceable batteries and was well worth the cost and hassle of replacing batteries every year. I would buy it again...but not for another decade.

What an easy install it was! Just 2 screws into the back plate to the wall and slide the CO alarm in. That's it. Nothing difficult at all. With a 10-Year battery I don't have to worry about it. There is no battery to change when the battery does die out. You would just buy a replacement. A quick tip, make a calendar reminder on Google Calendar or whatever app you use to check on it 10 years from now.

Piece of mind and keeps on working for up to 10 years of continuous protection. I have an older heating system and also use a secondary heating unit which is a wood pellet stove in the family room over the winter months. I am always concerned about the possible buildup of the deadly carbon monoxide gas in my home. Better safe than sorry. This small wall mounted unit is easy to install and sets up as soon as you mount it on its wall mount. Two screws hold it in place and then let it do the work for up to the next ten years before the lithium battery wears out and replacement will be required of the alarm system.I mounted this unit in my living room. I like its modern sleek look and compact size. It is not an eyesore and placed in plain sight and can be heard from anywhere in my home should the alarm sound it can be heard to alert us of danger

Installation was really simple. I used it to replace a “Kidde 10 year” that was installed in April 2012. I guess they really do last 10 years. I wish that they could make them fail at 1 pm instead of 1 am???

Had bought same one 10 years ago, replaced it with new one ,old one still working.

Bracket installation a little complicated.

Kidde makes quality products, so it was a no-brained to replace my outdated CO detector with a Kidde product.

It is great that this will last up to 10 years from the date you install it. This is our second.

Like its small size and ten year battery. Old detector had a thermometer and will miss it on this detector.

Got it mounted on the wall, and the light shows it’s working.. Hope it never goes off, but have peace of mind knowing it’s there!!
