Good looking, however this solid pine door is wrapped in a thin layer (1/8"?) of mdf which is quite fragile and easily damaged.

The doors were poorly made and easily damaged . The doors are trimmable but when trimmed the mdf finish starts to separate from the door. Great look but I would not recommend.

This product is great. I love them and in the process of installing them in all interior doors in my house. They are easy to work with and install. What I don't like if Home Depots' way of getting this to me. They always seem to come with a ding or two on them. The packaging of the doors seems to be decent enough to survive shipping but without fail the doors always have a dent or ding which just seems like carelessness on HD's front. For my last order both doors had more than one deep dings along the edges. Additionally, they lost one of the two doors on my order then found it a week later in some random location in the store with a couple of dings in it. Get it together Home Depot!

Finally got around to installing this door. Upon unwrapping, I realized one of the corners was busted. It wasn’t a big deal since I had to shave down the H and W a bit to fit my existing location. The MDF facing doesn’t hold up and was scuffed more than expected during installation. It looks good, and would probably get a 4/5 if it wasn’t for the cheap facing. For the price I’ll make my own next time.

Of the four doors, one had major edge dings, one had minor dings. Still a good value.

Perfect. Worth extra cost

I like the door. However it was damaged. I put wood putty on both sides and sanded to fix the area. It had a jab in one side that pressed the wood in and then out on the other side.

This is a great product

It has a huge dent on one edge. the only reason I'm keeping the door is I'm going to attach it with Barn door hardware and it will be hidden.

MDF on doors is very soft and shows everything.

Love these doors, however, there are a few blemishes that I will need to fix but overall they look nice. I would have returned them had I not needed them ASAP.

Like many of the reviews that are less than 5 stars, the issue is minor damage. Kimberly Bay need to reevaluate it packaging and handling methods to better prevent the damage. IF you buy these doors (and I do recommend them), be sure to inspect them before accepting them. I bought 4 doors and all 4 had damage. I received an adjustment from HD before I accepted 3. They had to reorder the 4th due to the amount of damage. The adjustment was for the labor involved in my having to repair the gouges (on the faces) and dents (especially on the edges) before painting them.
