Spacing in the shelving works great and the door have big shelves for milk. The ice maker could work little faster but it has been fine. Can not give it five star just yet haven"t had long enough .

So far this fridge is everything we expected. It’s beautiful and I love the stainless steel! It fit perfect in our small kitchen!

Very nice refrigerator. However it is taking me a while to get over the side by side doors of my old refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved my refrigerator but it took up a lot of walk way space in my kitchen. I decided to try a counter depth and it has made my kitchen feel bigger. The cold food storage is fantastic. The freezer is small but I have a second fridge in the garage so I really wasn’t concerned about how much it would hold. The water dispenser delivers very cold water and the ice maker is great.

I love everything about this fridge except that it takes two hands to use the water dispenser. I didn't realize how much of an inconvenience this would be for me. Also, the location of the dispenser is in the corner where the door meets the fridge, so I have to open the door pretty wide to reach it. I realize the design may be to conserve space, but in my opinion, it's not even worth trying to squeeze this feature in. (for context, I'm 5'6") If filtered water is your thing, definitely take a cup and try to see this model in person so you can assess for yourself.

I wish I could give it zero stars it is a complete piece of garbage. We’ve had ours for two years and was happy for the first two years. However, at exactly 2 years both the refrigerator and freezer no longer cool. We have now had two service calls and it cannot be fixed. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I am in KitchenAid which is owned by whirlpool for not being able to make a refrigerator that lasts more than two years. We have an extended warranty on it but I am also disappointed at Home Depot as well as Asurion the company who manages the warranty plan. The warranty is a completely ridiculous process and takes entirely too long while you the customer do not have a working fridge (btw durning a pandemic). I will say to anyone reading this, i advise that you BUY THE WARRANTY!!! This is now our second fridge in 4 1/2 years purchased from Home Depot that has gone bad. At least with the warranty we wont be out over 2k for a new one. We have now been without a working unit for two weeks. Guess we will get a new one eventually. To all the applience manufactures. Please please please stop manufactuimg this garbage. We all know where these parts are now made. JUST STOP!

We purchased this refrigerator in Dark Stainless. Every feature is practical and efficient. Change takes time to adjust to, however; this was a worthy change for us. The fridge looks very professional in our updated kitchen. Ice maker works fine, although the filter does not produces clear ice, the flavor of ice is not present. The water dispenser is perfect, cold, cold water is produced and I no longer am filling gallon jugs to bring home. Just a note, we are now a family of two...with guest dinners happening often. YES...this has been worth the extra money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator just before the COVID-19 stay-at-home order not only to update but to upgrade from the appliance suite that was in our home when we bought it; SO HAPPY that we did! This refrigerator fits the space better (counter depth) but still offers tons of space (for several weeks of eating at home and avoiding being out in public); we have 2 huge veggie drawers, 1 large meat drawer and plenty of shelves for all of our other refrigerated needs. Another cool feature is the "hidden" water faucet inside the door and ice maker in the freezer - we decided not to hook up a water line for the water faucet/ice maker because we already get reverse osmosis water to our sink and have a pebble ice cube maker that we prefer - so this fridge doesn't make our kitchen look cluttered with additional features that we don't use (i.e. on the door). Overall, a sleek and functional refrigerator without sacrificing space.

Temperature - The refrigerator is set to the recommended 38 degrees, however items towards the back of the refrigerator are often partially frozen. I placed a thermometer in the fridge and it reads 2 degrees lower than the refrigerator reading states. Material Quality and build - The rubber seals at the top and bottom of the doors started to tear after only 1 month use. The vegetable and fruit drawers do not slide easily, they get stuck a lot and I'm worried they will break with general use. Design - It's way to easy to spill water from the internal dispenser and just generally awkward to use. The water filter at the top of the refrigerator limits usable space within.

We really like our new French Door Kitchen Aid fridge. The French door enables us to open the section of the fridge we need to access. The internal water dispenser in the fridge and the ice cube maker in the freezer provide us with the features we use often. This fridge is well organized which makes us well organized. The internal white wine rack in the fridge is also a lovely feature as is the meat and cheese large pull out drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this refrigerator for 10 months now and we are pretty happy with it. It is counter-depth so of course it has it's downfalls. I do see some mold developing around the seal so I'm hoping we aren't leading into any issues and it's just some condensation build up that I need to clean. I like the adjustable shelves and the bottle holder. The 3 drawers really help compartmentalize your food. The wide, short drawer has two sections, which is great. I find the white refrigerator attractive compared to stainless steel. It is still very quiet. We hear noise occasionally, but not for long. If you don't pay attention, you will make a mess with the water dispenser. You have to hold it just so in order to get the water in your cup and not all over the fridge and onto the floor. We have hard water in Missouri. The filter helps a lot but I still like the taste of bottled water over the filtered. I probably just need to keep drinking it and get used to it. If you have soft water, I bet it would be awesome! And yes, it is cold! I do like having it inside the fridge instead of outside. I think the refrigerator looks a lot nicer not having it on the outside. The freezer space is limited if you cannot figure out how to maximize its space. Otherwise it just barely works out. Some times we end up sticking our ice cream in the ice bin. We love the size of the ice cubes because we make smoothies a lot. You can fix a pizza box like you see in the photo or on the top drawer in the freezer. Attached are photos. The left drawer is not full. Just has yogurt in it so some of the items you see on the shelf could fit in the drawer. Yes, the plastic drawers feel a little cheap but so far we have not broken or cracked one. It is a little annoying to have to open both doors to open the long, short drawer but if you put what you need up front, you can get your hand in there with just one door open and grab it. Also, I strategically placed our quick grab or daily items all on the left side of the fridge so we mostly just open the left door. We have not finished our new kitchen so I'm not sure how far this will stick out past cabinets yet. We purchase this from Sears Outlet so I will be giving it 5-stars on value since I got such a great price on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our JennAir went dead with no warning, so we started the search by looking at Kitchenaid. Then we went on the trek to all the appliance stores in the area. We couldn't find any that had what we wanted for the price we could afford. So after two weeks without a fridge, we went back to Kitchenaid and chose our French door baby. Love the inside lighting and the deep door space. We also are fond of the water spigot inside leaving a really clean look. The Stainless is a lot easier to clean fingerprints off with the microfiber towel my friend gave us. (the same one used by musicians to wipe down their horns and flutes) I am looking forward to many years with this new friend in the kitchen. Did I mention the door alarm?

I purchased this fridge as well as the range and the dishwasher to compliment the look of my kitchen but I have fallen in love with not only how they look but the best feature of the refrigerator is the depth . I don’t loose stuff shoved to the back of my old regular depth refrigerator. Also the in door water dispenser keeps the look sleek and clean , also I don’t have to deal with the ice and water in the outside of my old refrigerator that always got jammed . It is so great how organized this appliance allows me to be it makes meal time so convenient.

We purchased this refrigerator 3.5 years ago and it did not work day 1 from the store. The original unit was replaced but it only made it 3.5 years. The refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling all together six weeks ago and to date the refrigerator has not been repairable or replaced. The rubber gasket from the inside the refrigerator has come off as well and is not covered under warranty. The door will pop the other open when you try to close them - we are told that it is to be expected with the design.

The refrigerator works well, however after 18 months, the finish on the freezer door has deteriorated. Indeed, there was the appearance of rust and after several minutes discussed with the kitchen aid customer service, they can not do anything. Personally, I would no longer recommend buying kitechen aid for the simple reason that customer service is simply very poor and that the quality of the product is very ordinary.

I was able in include a KitchenAid 5 burner range with a full convection & half electric oven; a top of line dishwasher and....best of all...this 36 inch, counter-depth stainless refrigerator. I has everything I need and fits neatly into the cabinets. Thanks so much for having the complete package for my kitchen!

This is not a reflection on Home Depot, only KitchenAid. We have used their products for years and had been very happy. For a new home we built we again chose KitchenAid products for the kitchen and bar areas. Their stainless steel is such poor quality that you will almost immediately see the surface start to breakdown and rust. It has happened particularly badly on the dishwasher and refrigerators. We have had the fronts replaced and it happened again, only now the short initial warranty period has passed. So we will have to live with rust spots on them. They are using something that they call "stainless steel" but it certainly is not.

The frodge is besutiful. Its sleek, the handles are classic, and I get a lot of compliments. I dont think its very loud, but ove never had a nice fridge so dont really hahe snything to compare it to. The only annoying thing is the water filler on the inside. I like the location, but there is a button ABOVE the spout, making it impossible to fill a glass or bottle with one hand. If they put a button below the spout like every other fridge it would get 5 stars from me. The doors also ocassionally struggle to close but at least the fridge dings to let you know you’ve left the door open.

I love this refrigerator for the most part but our icemaker constantly over produces. It doesn't seem to know when it's full and continues to produce ice until the bucket over fills. We have to dump the bucket daily and clean the ice that spills out of the bucket and onto the floor after we open the freezer. As an isolated issue this would be annoying, in combination with the over heating range knobs on the matching range, which I posted about in my review of the range, this is enough to make me want to switch appliance brands.

I purchased this less than 2 years ago, and there are numerous rust stains all over the front panels. We’ve used only “approved” cleaners and had no standing water. KitchenAid won’t stand behind the product. Rust stains aside, it’s an attractive fridge, but pretty average in build quality. The freezer drawer doesn’t glide smoothly and the doors need a little push to close fully. For some reason, the designers also saw fit to make a water dispenser that sits 1/4in off the side panel. It’s very hard to get anything but a water bottle under there without spilling. Without the rust stains, I was happy with the fridge. It does a great job keeping things cold and/or frozen. With the stains … man am I disappointed in this purchase.
