At least a half inch too small around the edges and does not seal at all. We have not used ours yet because of this. We have not contacted customer service yet and may return it if there is not replacement lid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The even heating of this unit is amazing, no hot spots, smooth temperature transitions, heats quickly without going over temperature. Controls are simple, effective and intuitive with warm, low, medium and high temperatures. Another nice feature is that the unit goes into warming mode after a timed cook. This keeps the food warm without overcooking. There is insulation in the cooker so the outside does not become scalding. A favorite for us is cooking steel cut oats for 7 hours, yes 7 hours on low. The oatmeal is creamy, full of flavor with no cream or milk needed. We use 6 cups of water to 1 and 1/2 cups steel cut oats. Cool, refrigerate and during the week take a cup of the cooked oats, a little water and microwave for a couple of minutes. Incredible slow cooker, highly recommended without any reservations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this cooker twice, and it works well. I appreciate the timer feature and that it switches to warm when the time is up. However, the lid does not fit snugly, which is necessary for slow cooking some dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though I ordered this a bit late, I got it in plenty of time for Turkey Day and am I glad I bought it! It's a generously-sized slow cooker that has four heat settings and they are all extremely useful. It is also handsome: looks like a real up-scale appliance that makes baking a super-sized, space-hogging turkey in the oven alone easy. No late or burned stuffing! Only drawback might be price, but I think it is worth the price. Viva Kitchenaide!

I have had this item for almost 8 years, it never fails to perform beautifully. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and just works perfectly every time!

Have a lot of KA products, but this one didn’t work. After 8hours onions still crunchy. After 10hrs carrots still crunchy. Returned immediately and still awaiting my money back!

very good all other ways, programming, temp settings, ease of use etc but the digital display broke after only 2 years of usage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching crock pots I selected this top rated KitchenAid. As reviewed it is extremely easy to use, has excellent time and heating options and looks great in my kitchen. I am delighted with this purchase.

I bought this and the beans didn't cook - tested the temperature, and was way too low. Was sent another one; now it just doesn't turn on after a dozen or so uses. As you'll see from the other reviews, this substandard product continually disappoints purchasers for the same reason.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous slow cooker had hot spots in two corners. I was used to seeing it boil even on low. When I first fired up the KitchenAid slow cooker, I expected the same thing. Wrong!! Do no expect this behavior. This slow cooker cooks evenly around the whole slow cooker so no boiling. The Low/Med/High is new but with a little understanding of the temps, it is manageable. Low is ok but you might have to increase the time some to get the end results you need. Medium is about right for stews, etc. and I have had good luck using this temp with recipes I have found online that state cook on low. Of course if you are cooking something that needs a lighter touch, low might be good. This all comes under the heading "know your slow cooker". Bottom line, this is a great slow cooker. It might act a little different from what you are used to (it doesn't boil), but "trust this slow cooker" Luke. You'll love it!!

I love my new Kitchen Aid and couldn’t ask for a better slow cooker. I’m very pleased with how it operates and love the aesthetics of it too!

This is the worst slow cooker. I can’t believe The cost for such poor quality. I will try to return. Unfortunately I no longer have my box. But such a waste of money. I cooked stew beef for 11 hours on low and the wasn’t cooked through. The. 7 hours on medium and the potatoes and carrots were still crispy crunchy. Something isn’t right.
