This is not recommended by homedepot or the manufacturer but naphtha is the same thing as zippo lighter fluid and it works great. I also use it for its intended purpose and it works great for cleaning oil and paint.

I am using it to thin silicone caulk and for that it is much less smelly than xylene.

Does what it should do.

The naphtha works very well as a cleaning agent for various adhesives around the house… even to remove the residue left by mineral spirits on painted woodwork. In the past, I have used Ronsonol lighter fluid to do the same thing, but it is hard to find and a lot more expensive.

Used to get the grease off my kitchen cabinets. Worked great and didn’t take the finish off! Just Murphy’s oil soaped then after and now they are beautiful, clean and shiny again!

Does what it’s supposed to do. No complaints

Good value product. It works excellent for removing excess sealing material from plexiglass windows.

I couldn't give it a better review. What is there to say? It works great as a cleanser and didn't leave any stains. Been using it for years as a thinner and it does well without any weird reactions or side-effects, although it does smell bad and it makes your breath smell bad. Won't be passing any breathalyzers soon, but hey I've lost so much weight. I do wish it went down smoother, but you get used to it after a while.

Use this between coats when finishing guitars. Exceptionally useful!
