Perfect
Knives and flashlights, two things you can never have enough of. This knife reminds me of how they used to be built. Made of steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. This knife has a good weight you just don't find anymore. The blade is solid and doesn't flex, the whole knife is very solid actually. Had a really nice feel in my hand. The wire strippers are three different sizes and have a little bit of an edge to them, rather than being dull. The thumb lock is reliable and easy to use. The Phillips screwdriver is nice, would have liked to see a flat as well though. I really like this knife.

excellent quality, nicely balanced, should have slotted head screwdriver (or both)
The knife is well built, very sturdy, nicely balanced, and is very sharp. The quality of the blade seems like it will be easy to sharpen (when the time comes) and will hold an edge. Certainly easy to carry in work attire (belt clip, tool pouch), but if you're looking to carry it as a simple everyday pocket knife, it is a little heavy for dress pants. The one-handed operation is smooth and works well (simple thumb action). I used the wire strippers along the top of the blade for general home repairs and they worked great. This is called an "electrician's knife". However, when I walk around my house including the main breaker box, 99% of the screws were general purpose "slotted" heads. I'm not sure why they chose a "phillips" head for the intended purpose. If it had a slotted head screwdriver (or both), it would be easy to do most routine electrical work around the house (switches, outlets, extension cord ends, etc) with just this knife.

Nice Pocket Knife for Electrical Work
This is a nice solid pocket knife if you do a lot of electrical work. The action is smooth and the blade locks firmly open. The countouring makes it comfortable in your hand though it is a little on the slippery side and it would be nice to have some texture for grip. The wire stripping notches are a nice touch. It is a little stiff to flip out but I suspect that will break in over time. The only thing I'd change is it would be nice to have a flat head screwdriver as well.

Klein Folding Knife
Overall the Klein electrician's folding knife with #2 phillips screwdriver and stripping notches for electrical wire did good. Except for the stripping wire part, did not do the job. Has a good clip on it, for the belt, pocket, etc. Is quality made with 440A stainless steel. Good to have as a spare knife for a emergency or in a pinch. Use the right tool for right job.

stripper knife
I am very impressed with this knife. It not only has a lock on the blade, but also has a lock on the # 2 philips drive end. The wire stripper side is very convenient when doing small electrical jobs. it is a very sturdy piece and not real heavy. The pocket clip is sturdy and makes for convenient storage in your pocket or on your belt or in your tool pouch. I would recommend this knife.

Excellent
Extremely sharp knife with conveniently located wire stripping capabilities. It is a solidly manufactured tool that looks like it will last a lifetime. The Phillips head screwdriver is an added plus, but is definitely a tertiary feature. Just one side note. In order to fold the blade and the screwdriver pieces into the body one must flip the unit over and move a metal support bar out of the way. It's very easy, but there should be a little, one-sentence description on the instructions.

Knife + Phillips Screwdriver
The Klein Tools 44217 electrician’s pocket knife combines a drop point cutting blade and a Phillips #2 screwdriver. Both are liner locking—secured in place when open. The cutting blade is sharp and concave-ground. The alloy is 440A stainless steel, a practical inexpensive choice that is not super hard but easy to re-sharpen and corrosion resistant. The back of the blade has three wire stripping notches sized for the most common gauges. The blade and handle are shaped to enable wire stripping with the blade closed—good design! The Phillips screwdriver is useful but does not appear very strong. If a screw is corroded in place, go back the tool bag for the real thing. A flat blade screwdriver is not provided, which limits usefulness for electrical work. Well, it’s helpful with part of the job.

Great for when you walk the job
I bought this particular knife because during job walks at the beginning or end phase I would find myself in need of a #2 and hate walking back to the van. Also when I have finished a job and put my tools away then need to land the bell/siren wires back on the terminals, I just reach for my knife and flip the #2 out.

This is the greatest pocket knife!
This knife is made as solid as a rock. It is extremely well made. I know its called an Electrician's knife but I got it to have for odd jobs around the house. The first time I used it was to replace a wall switch. The special little cutters to strip the wires are so handy and to have the phillips screwdriver right there attached it just great. I have used it for so many jobs around the house, cutting rope, cardboard, string, cutting gum out of my dogs fur.

      Great Knife!
THIS IS REALLY A NICE KNIFE. IT CAME WITH A REALLY SHARP EDGE AND IT KEEPS AN EDGE. THE BLADE LOCKING MECHANISM AT FIRST IMPRESSION SEEMED INADEQUATE. NOT SO. IT HOLDS UNTIL DISENGAGED, THE WIRE STRIPPER DOES WORK AND THE PHILLIPS SCREW DRIVER IN A PINCH. BOTTOM LINE. I LIKE IT AND REFUSE TO USE IT FOR WORK AS IT IS JUST ENTIRELY TO NICE. THIS IS NOW MY EVERY DAY POCKET KNIFE.
