It’s awesome now I can find the breakers for any receptacle and safely replace it.

This is the best tool to use when upgrading an electrical panel.

As far as I can tell, this product doesn’t work. No matter what outlet I plug the transmitter in it comes back telling me it’s potentially on the same two breakers and when I turn the breakers off, the outlets do not shut down.

Simple to use. Highly accurate.

Easy to use. installed the supplied battery and started identifying outlets to circuit breakers. found 4 outlets that were reverse wired, installed that way when house was built 60 years ago. Glad I bought it.

One of the most useful tools I have ever owned.

My home and a rental built 40 to 50 years ago need to have their electric breakers marked better. Having 20 20 Amp breakers i in the main and a sub panel simply labeled "plugs" does not help much. This tool's description should help with that task. The bottom line is that it seems to misidentify the correct breaker. Even after reviewing multiple "how to"videos, this did not work correctly and identified the wrong circuits. Trying to locate the breaker for the two GFI protected (at the first outlet) so they could be improved to ACFI/GFCI. The ET310 tool identified a circuit in the sub panel. I turned it off and rather than the bathroom the transmitter was plugged into, that shutdown the office and all of the computer equipment. Not a desired outcome. Well at least I have the office/computer circuit labeled better now.

Did a great job. Now I know where each of my breakers go.

Worked exactly how I thought and got problem solved quickly

Sturdily built, works as expected. Does have some difficulty with split breakers, but that's to be expected...it gets you in the ballpark. Much easier to use than the old Sperry-type units.

Works well on my square D Homeline panel. My only use so far. Keep tracking - moving til it is a constant solid red, as breaker adjacent will give an intermittent red sometimes. But the correct breaker is always a constant bright red.

I had one of these before which got lost, so this was a replacement. When I used it to find a breaker, it didn't give me a clear indication. The old one always was accurate. I don't know if this one is faulty. I will try it again to see.

Excelente tool and necessary

Game changer for tracing circuits to the breaker.

I was hoping for magic as shown in the instructions, but it was simply "helpful." It works, but not always, or well. You may have to repeat the process several times to get a positive read, and be prepared for several false positives - but narrowing the field to 2 or 3 breakers is still helpful. It also has trouble with crowded messy panels. The advice to disconnect devices from the circuit being tested is a joke, as often you are using the device to find which outlets are on the circuit!
