First, I think the time estimates they provide are pretty far off. We used this to heat up nachos on a boat, and while it did eventually melt the cheese and heat the contents, it took longer than I expected. I thought it would take 10-12 minutes but in reality it took the better part of 25. That's not a big deal once you know how long to estimate, but be prepared for some trial and error. As far as how the nachos turned out, they wound up being a bit soggy. I think that's because there's no vent for moisture to escape. As such, I think this will work much better for things like soup, hot wings, rice bowls, etc. It would also be nice if this lunch box had low/medium/high settings. Sometimes you just want to keep warm food warm for an extended car ride or something, but at 300 degrees you're still actively cooking. Lastly, this lunchbox really needs some sort of indicator light that let's you know when it's heating. With all that said, this lunch box is still great in the right application. We will definitely continue using this on the boat and potentially for tailgates as well, just not with food that will get soggy.
