disappointed
Was so excited to get this door until we unwrapped it and saw all the major flaws and damage. There were huge splits and big chunks out of frame from bands. Would return but waited 9 days to get it and contractors needed it. Thank goodness for local home depot giving me a break with a gift card to help for the damage. If it was not damaged it would have been a lovely door

There are scratches on the door. Also the packaging around the door was tore in places, and slipping off in other spots. Then two weeks after we purchased the door, it dropped in price by $350 dollars.

4stars not because it doesn’t deserve it but time will tell if it’s5 star quality. Right now I really like it. However!! I like knots and variations in doors, some people would be put off by this or it wouldn’t fit their design. Ours is for ranch farm, quaint with touches of rustic. It has an elegant feel without being a modern sleek look.

The door is beautiful; however the stain is not as dark as it appears in the photos and the protective covering over the windows still allowed for stain overspray on to the glass. It cleans off but takes a considerable amount of time.

Find a different brand.
Find a different brand. We purchased 12 Krosswood knotty alder doors. First, we had to turn away several because they don't package them well at all for shipping and they came damaged. Second, every single one of them were assembled wrong and required fixing. To make it worse, every door had something different wrong with it. We spent hours on each door just fixing the poor craftsmanship. I expected at least a little quality for $700 doors.

Awful Representation of Color
This door came in complete bare wood with all of the imperfections to show as well.
It looked nothing like the photo. The photo shows a beautiful door, dark in color, no flaws. The door came as pine wood looking as if it were just cut down showing a ton of imperfections. Absolutely would not recommend. $500 for a door I still have to stain? No way. And of course you get the “well it says it can be stained easily” from customer service. Absolutely disappointed, stay away.

This is for an unfinished door. We do offer stain but you need to purchase that separately. This is also a rustic knotty alder door which is made from the knotty alder wood. Each door is as individual as the trees in the forest.
