This Venetian Bronze looks beautiful on my three new exterior entry doors (with the matching dead bolt) and the SmartKey was so easy to reset to my old key (for the whole house). I'm now replacing all my interior door knobs to match this set.

I purchased two of these plus deadbolts for my back door and garage door. I had a handyman install them because he was already here doing work. They are very attractive and feel solid and were easy for me to rekey all the locks to the same key. The only issue I had was that one of the lever sets would lock but wouldn't unlock. After calling Kwikset, I was told they've had an issue with that happening and after getting the information they needed, they sent me a new one. I received the new one in about a week and replaced the defective lock myself. Now everything looks and works great.

1895 Farm House Re-model
Awesome locks for our 120 year old doors. We are re-modeling an 1895 Farm House near Ardmore, TN. We chose these locks to update the look of the old doors. Doors back then must have been thinner than doors today, but these locks work with our thinner doors. Love the look of the lock and the larger plate behind the lever. Mimics the look of the lock-plates on the older knobs/locks we took off. The Austin series seems to be a quality line. Feels heavy and looks great.

Part of the assembly on the new handle broke while...
Part of the assembly on the new handle broke while installing. Thankfully we were able to use a piece from the old door handle to fix it.
