Delivery was fast. Qwikset locks are a quality alternative to Schlage and the Smart Key allows for key change without replacing the keyway.

“Programming” of the key problems.
Followed the instructions and the knob programmed to the key. Did the exact thing to the deadbolt and now no key works.

Great lockset
Just get it. It was more of an upgrade than I expected. I was replacing 20 year old builder grade locks. These are smoother and denser. Holes door secure. Installation was easy. The deadbolt has very long screws and seems a lot more secure than what I took off. Only had to chisel a little wood for the deadbolt jamb plate but otherwise everything fit in the existing cutouts.

Frustrated that the automatic keying feature did not work. Wound up paying $20 more for the same set without that feature and still have to use 2 different keys

I brought this set as a replacement for the same type from Kwikset that I was using on my door for past 9+ years. While comparing with the old one, this new Entry door Deadbolt combo is is very bad. The quality is very poor. The old one was much stronger. This is very cheap and the material is also not strong enough. I would not recommend this product at all. I am wondering how a company like Kwitset can make such cheap door knobs and deadbolt locks. The quality of the product has gone way down!.
