Looks great, easy to install but can’t unlock with your phone

It does not work. I spent 100 to get somto install it and the hurricane came ,it was 32 days and i couldn't return it

Not my first choice, the one I wanted was out of stock. Programing is fickle, third attempt worked.

So easy to install and a great product!

Our second lock, works well easy to change batteries(annually) and codes. Highly recommend

Does not include batteries. It is noted on the box in two point type on the back of the box. Should be more pronounced on the front and big letters so people. No one enjoys returning to Home Depot for batteries. Also it’s more complicated than the Schlage lock which I have bought several from Home Depot. Difficult to put together. I’m sticking with Schlage and will not buy another quickset again.

We have had this lock installed for almost 10 months. Having a keyless entry is GREAT!!!! And 99% of the time this Kwikset lock is amazing! But, the 1% is a deal breaker for recommending it. We have two of these keyless entries...one on our front door and one our side garage door. On 4 occasions (two on each lock), after entering the code to unlock the door, the mechanism will not stop running. We have tried entering the code again, locking and unlocking manually, pressing the lock button, all to no avail. The only solution I have found is to get a screwdriver and remove the 3 screws on the cover plate and pull out the battery pack. We now keep a screwdriver near the front door and only 2 of the 3 screws hold the plate now. So far, this has only happened when either me or my husband was using the lock, so we know how to fix it. Not sure how it will turn out if our housecleaner, neighbor or adult kids have this glitch happen to them. I don't think they would be able to lock to the door. I loved that I could key all my Kwikset locks to be the same and wish I could whole-heartedly recommend this product. But, this glitch is a real problem.

I installed this deadbolt on my new door. The installation was straight forward. Although, after intall, I followed the instructions to program the unit but it was not cycling properly in order to program. I loosened the lock and repositioned it thinking maybe something was bound. Again I tried the programming to no avail. At this point, I removed the lock completely, reassembled it in my hand and tried to program again to no avail. The deadbolt was still not cycling properly. After spending $120 on this deadbolt and it would not operate, I returned it and did not buy another one. Very disappointing. I will also not recommend this lock to my customers if they ask.

Bought this as an exact replacement for the previous lock which electronics go wonkie after more than four years use.

Works, but noisy. Blinking light to indicate if locked or unlocked is annoying, pointless, and a battery drain.

Last one lasted 3/4 years under constant use do got this one new to replace cause it’s a good product…

I have 3 schlage electronic door locks and they are better quality and easier to install. Pros: the key side dies not protrude as much as other brands. Cons: in order to change batteries, unlike Schlage, you have to remove three very tiny screws which are easily dropped and lost. With Schlage, no screws needed as the case slides off for battery access. 2. Very difficult calibration process which if not done correctly, the dead bolt gets stuck And can be slow wait times for deadbolt to completely engage to lock position. 3. The wide turning radius for manual locking can interfere with setup and calibration. Because of difficult setup snd nuances unlike Schlage, it took my Engineer husband about 1hr to install and troubleshoot calibration issues.

Easy to install and use. Very convenient so no rummaging for your keys. Well made and nice looking. And the re-keying feature is great. Use your current key by re-keying and if you ever want to use the key it comes with you can re-key to that.
