Easy to assemble and works great.

So far so good. Installation was easy and product works as advertised. Disappointed to learn that Z-wave feature doesn’t work with Ring doorbell, it requires Ring alarm system.

Very easy to install. works well on it's own. I installed on a detached garage, and it could not connect to the smarthings hub consistently. I installed a levitron z-wave switch in the garage and that fixed the connection problem. now works flawlessly. decent price for a smart lock.

Very good lock, however water from the rain got into the lock and it stop working, had to buy a new lock.

Having lots of problems with the lock. When it works its great. Lock sticks when unlocking. I have 3 of these and some are perfect others are not so much.

Easy to install and integrated with my Vivint alarm system.

Fantastic product. This product will replace a locked lever set-up. I used it for the door between my mud room and garage. For the first couple of weeks I used it on its own not connected to my home security. Then I connected to my home security using Z-Wave and it worked well under both scenarios.

The installation instructions are absolutely crap. They skip several key steps! I only learned this after being on hold with support for 30 minutes with support. SmartThings scheduled automations only work about 50% of the time and I have to keep deleting and readding them back.

The included keys did not work in the lock. In order to use smart key you must have the original key. I read online that all Home Depot’s should have a tool to reset the lock without the working key but my local Home Depot did not. Had to return it, but the second one I got works great.

I love this lock! It was highly recommended by my locksmith as well. Super easy to program and reliable so far.

It was difficult for me to install, but only because I had to install it with the lock on the INSIDE because of my son escaping our house. We live on a busy road, so I called customer service and asked him to help me purchase the right product and make sure it was going to serve the purpose I needed. I ended up buying this and I also bought a Kēvo touch lock for the outside of the door. The keypad isn’t working now but did at first (after I installed it and checked it, it stopped working?), and I’ve been too busy to take it apart and see why. (I’ll update my review after) The app is great and easy to use (for the kevo), and I recommend buying them together.

The Z-Wave feature does not stay synchronized with my home alarm system (Honeywell Lyric). It works great one day, the next day it will arm the alarm system when you are trying to open the door. I reset the lock and reset the alarm system and it works great for about a day. The next day it is not synchronized again. My wife has arthritis and has a difficult time trying to turn a normal door knob, this lever door lock is very easy for her to open the door. When the door lock is synchronized with the alarm system, she can easily use the keypad on the door lock to turn off the alarm and unlock the door!

The lock is good. Keypad entry works great. I have some connection issues in that it does not stay connected to my hub, which is about 30 ft away. The other issue is that when the door is locked, you can still open the door by pushing down on the handle. Not good for keeping small kids inside.

Have to make sure and read the packaging. This model looks exactly the same as the zigbee brand option that can work with Xfinity Home Security. But still am satisfied with its functionality.

I have installed this type of unit before and installation was not a problem until inserting main shaft into the door it was too short. After examining the mechanism and read the installation, I found there is a latch to extend the shaft longer. No problem after that and the setup was simple. Operates as it was designed. And the operation of the unit is simple as long as you don't forget password.

I got this because of an email I received from my security company saying it could link into my system and automatically arm and disarm my system. I love that! It was very easy to install and program; and it is working great. The reason for the missing star is that re-keying was a little more difficult than I thought, however if I had moved faster, it may have been a smoother process. Now that it's done my key actually moves through the lock more smoothly than the one that came with it. All the features are working great. I'm thinking about getting another in the future.

Doesn’t always stay connected to the Samsung bridge. You to hit the lock button with your knuckle when turning the handle.

Love the look. Love some of the functionality. Some of the design is flawed enough that I’m going to return item. For the price the Z-wave is NOT worth it. For the price the interior plate (where indoor lock dial is) should be better made. The exterior with keypad is great. Good size and functionality and many options for combos. I like that the combos can be more than four digits long. The interior is lacking. The handle doesnt move smooth and often sticks. The lock struggles to go full horizontal or vertical. I cant tell when exiting if the door is still locked or not by just glancing at interior lock. Again, for the price it should work better. Would consider replacing with less pricy model but dont believe that would fix the interior lock issue since same design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this just before Christmas 2018. I absolutely love it. It is integrated with SmartThings so I have multiple ways of unlocking the doors. I can use SmartThings, combination codes or key. I can also have up to approximately 30 combinations. Built solid and very reliable

The kwikset z-wave lock did not work. The ADT tech. tried programming the lock several times to work on the ADT Pulse but it wouldn’t because the lock firm wire was not installed at all. Because of this it was a waste of time and money.

Extremely poor quality, completely unnecessarily difficult to install (I’m a mechanic) and not as good as others. I have 5 other Schlage locks on rentals and tried this brand for a change, just exchanged it for my normal go to. Difficult to install, unnecessary steps and parts (like 6 extra parts compared to the Schlage). When installed, loud noise and junky feel. Lock mechanically moves when unlocked opposed to others that unlock internally. Also, not as attractive once unboxed. I would spend the extra $10 every single time for other brand. Also does not include batteries like the competitors does.

So nice to just push in a code and enter. Specially when you hands are full and no keys in reach
