In planning to go to a resort that had 4 tesla destinations chargers and only 1 regular J1772 charger, I looked online and found this and it works perfectly. I get around 35 miles per go out of charging worth it!

Easy to connect. Plug it into the Tesla connector, wait 30 sec to 1 min, then plug into vehicle. Connected to a Tesla wall charger set at 40 amps on a 50 amp circuit. Works great charging my F-150 Lighting!

The adapter worked well and allowed me to charge my Polestar at a hotel that only had Tesla chargers

Have only used it once, but it worked perfectly. I've found that most hotels that have chargers have 4x as many Tesla destination chargers as other chargers. Having this adapter incteased my chances of finding a charger by 2-3 x.

Tested it out at local AAA destination charger in the middle of winter sub zero temperature, it worked on the first try.

I was a little stranded at about 3% charge left. The adapter let me plug my Subaru Solterra J1772 into the nearest charger which happened to be a Tesla wall charger. Worked like a charm!

Owned my adapter since February 2022, so just over a year of use with a Tesla Mobile charger (240v) in my garage. Recently though, I've had to park outside in the driveway so my wife can park in the garage and had to charge while raining. I've definitely charged in the rain before with no problems, but this week I started getting faults due to water ingress where the Tesla connector is inserted into the Lectron adapter. Dried it out and it started working again, but then it rained heavily last night and it faulted again. I'm thinking the adapter is just not as water-tight now as it was a year ago. Since I never use this adapter on the road, I'll just dry everything out and either wrap cellophane around the connection point and tape around the ends OR I'll use silicone to seal the connection. Silicone won't be a permanent adhesion, so it would probably work better.

Works well but in the rain water collects in the Tesla end and makes the charger think it’s grounded and stops charging until the water dries up

Plug and Play! After a couple of years of charging a Tesla, needed a solution for our new Volvo plug-in hybrid. Lectron was far, far easier than expected. (You really should remove the video of the guy who tried everything and everywhere to get the adapter to work--and failed miserably.) Excellent rapid charging.

Works well. There’s a 48-amp adapter made by Lectron and It’s it’s probably a better fit if you have the Tesla wall connector. I ony found about it after I bought this adapter.

With my Ioniq 5, this connector works only occasionally with a Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector. When you plug it in, the car waits about a minute before failing with the error "charging unsuccessful". Sometimes - about 20% of the time - if you then immediately turn the car on, the handshake with the Mobile Connector will suddenly work and start charging. I also tested this with a Destination Charger and was successful about 50% of time. Basically, this device doesn't work.

Legit!! I can now charge the car at any super station.

Great for Tesla only stations

Great idea to provide an adapter that allows other cars to use Tesla charging stations. I hope to try it out when I am somewhere that does not have a Charge Point station.

Works like a charm! Only tested in on a 7kw Tesla Destination charger though. Need to find a higher kw charger, but I assume it will work just fine. Build quality is excellent!

Love the Lectron adapter. I do worry that the 40amp limit may not allow me to fully use the higher amp rated Tesla destination chargers but otherwise great. Have used it 3 times already and works like a charm.

High quality construction. Great that it has dust caps at both ends. Tested it at a local Tesla 240 Volt destination charger & it worked fine.
