This fridge is exactly what we were looking for. It looks great from the outside, and it has the perfect amount of shelves and compartments for all of our staples. I love that it has a special door for items we use a lot, so we conserve cold air and waste less energy when opening the door. My favorite thing about the fridge is that the freezer drawer has three layers of usable space. Unlike my old fridge, which I had to dig around in and pull everything out to find things at the bottom, the two levels of drawers above the bottom compartments in this fridge allow me to easily find what I am looking for.

We are very pleased with this LG refrigerator. The water and ice in the door and see thru window in the door is a great feature. The exterior finish is nice being print proof stainless steel, but you still will need to clean as normal. The fridge interior space is three shelfs and the two drawers for fruits, vegs and meats. It is counter depth as you can see from the photos, our prior fridge stuck out 5-6 inches. The delivery and communication was excellent with the delivery man installing the water line. He said the temp is preprogrammed for the fridge and freezer.The refrigerator itself is beautiful, fits perfectly and I like the French doors for the upper and the bottom freezer is adequate space. The door in door, is a feature we will have to get use to using. The lighting provides good viewing into the fridge. We love the middle drawer to store a list of food items you wish to store. The Door in the door feature allows for the storage of up to 3 or 4 gallons of drinks as other items you may want to remove with out opening the inter door. Great energy efficient feature. We will have to set up the App later to get the wireless features operational. Very good option when you start shopping for the new frigerated and freezer.

I absolutely love my new refrigerator. It is very spacious and beautiful to look at. The French doors open to reveal a large storage area. With two Taps of the finger the glass on the right door lights up to reveal your most used items. That can be open separately, everything else in the refrigerator stays cold. The full width drawer can keep meats or Deli products, two other bins are for your fruits and vegetables. The freezer also has two large trays and beneath that you can store larger frozen boxes of items. I love the finish of black stainless steel it prevents fingerprints and is very attractive to look at, I highly recommend this refrigerator to anyone who needs a large storage space and wants a very attractive refrigerator.

We have just received our 30 CU. Ft. Instaview Refrigerator and we could not be happier. LG is our appliance brand of choice and they have out done themselves with this one. There is not a feature on here we don’t expect to get our money’s worth out of. Everything from the Instaview door to the dual ice maker. This thing is loaded! Plus at 30 CU Ft. it will hold everything we needed it to. The freezer has three drawers which makes it very easy to find what you are looking for. I also looked at the slightly smaller version of this, I think it was around 24 CU foot and it is plenty big for most families as well. I could list pages of all it’s features, but to be honest, if you are looking for a high end refrigerator at a reasonable cost, get down to your Home Depot and check this one out now!

If you want a refrigerator with some really great options , than you have got to see the 30 cu. ft. InstaView 3-Door French Door Refrigerator with Craft Ice in Print Proof Black Stainless Steel . I ordered one of these for my wife and she went wild . This refrigerator has a light up window that shows you the front inside of the door with a double touch of the door .It has 4,8,16, and 32 ounce auto fill water choices . An ice maker that puts out round ice to last longer and tons of room for storage in the inside and in the freezer . It is a beautiful unit which really makes your kitchen look great .

I purchased LG refrigerator in October of 2022 and in 2024 I had to purchase a new ice maker because it stopped working and now both of the fans in the freezer have both stopped working. Time for LG to go to recycle for good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is AMAZING!!! First of all it is gorgeous in my kitchen more importantly, the design of it is brilliant. The easy access door allows me to grab my drinks quickly and the fact that you can knock on it to see whats inside is so nice because I don't stand there with the door open anymore. The BEST FEATURE is the craft ice. 4 types of ice are you kidding me!?!? Wow. Mini cubes for my watter bottles and perfect large ice balls for my cocktails. Perfect for everyday and impressive for entertaining. My friends are jealous lol. I will never buy another fridge if it doesn't make ice balls. Game changer.

Not happy. The fan in my refrigerator went bad in under a year. I started getting error codes after only 8 months. I was sold a defective refrigerator and LG will not replace it. Imagine buying an expensive refrigerator and a repair is needed in less than a year. I've owned several refrigerators in the past and none of them had to be repaired and this one needs repairing in less than a year and costs 4 times more than the others. The tech even said the fan is faulty. Please replace or refund.

Purchase the refrigerator and the craft ice part being replace six times and my fridge is less than three years-old

This very expensive fridge quit working after only 4 years. The compressor and coils went out $1700 to fix!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this fridge for nearly four years and it's generally worked as it's supposed to. However, many of the complaints others have had, we've experienced to some degree as well. We found a small broken, semi-circular piece of plastic in the craft ice tray a few weeks ago when it seemed like it wasn't working anymore. I reset that and it actually seems to work just OK now. It produces ice, but it's not the most beautiful stuff in the world, but I'm hoping that piece that broke isn't detrimental to the function of that ice maker. In addition to that, the fridge itself makes all kinds of buzzing noises that others have indicated. There is an intermittent fan noise that sounds like a fan blade is making ever so close contact with what I'd have to assume is either ice or some other piece of plastic/metal if tolerances are too tight. I'm considering throwing this thing in our garage and it can be our garage fridge and getting something other than LG next time. I just feel horrible spending as much as this unit costs to be used as a garage fridge. I likely won't be buying another LG appliance.

Ice maker and fan issues. Ice maker stopped working. LG support would not immediately address. Finally LG sent ice maker part which I had to install. Refrigerator fan started making noise. LG recommended I defrost the refrigerator, which I did. It stopped noises for about 2 weeks. LG replies it is out of warranty. Home Depot was no help. Disappointed. Will not recommend LG or buy from Home Depot … unless you want to factor into your budget hundeds of dollars more for a “warranty”.

Works fine for one year then the error codes start to show. Ice maker fan had to be replaced. Freezer fan had to be replaced. Both of those are easy to replace. Works fine for a couple months then the freezer will freeze up and the new fans begin to make noise.

After three months if owning and using it, the craft ice is still not round and not clear. The sphere has a flat top and only half of it is crystal clear, the other half looks like regular ice. Numerous chats with LG-Support always end with the same answer. “It’s the water supply line that needs more pressure”. Impossible. The fridge is great but we specifically bought it for the craft ice and thats not worth it.

We are on our third craft ice maker in less than five years. Even when it works, it takes forever just to make one ice cube. The other ice maker in the refrigerator produce very little ice and we need the craft ice maker to keep up. I will not buy this brand again.

We purchased this refrigerator less than a year ago and we have had nothing but troubles. First the delivery crews did not set it up properly. We had to figure out the tiny ice maker thst did not work until we you tubed how to fix it. We have had to defrost it twice! I have never had to defrost a FROST FREE refrigerator in my life and I've owed several. Do not buy this product!!!!

Yes my LG headed 3 years the compressor went out ice maker went out and the manufacturer does not want to fix it very poor product

Once it finally arrived (took about 5 months) I have Loved it. My veggies stay fresh longer. Fruits especially Strawberries stay fresh longer. The Craft Ice is Impressive, and make a statement (LOL).

Have had the craft ice maker replaced three times already. No excuse for a company that makes so much money on their products. Shame on LG

This is the fridge of my dreams!

. I bought one of these about 5 years ago Stopped cooling recently, No one seems to know how to repair it,. The ice capacity will barely fill a large glass. The finish on button finish on the clear door rubbed off.

This refrigerator is life changing. It holds SO much! The freezer is super spacious and has basically two drawers/shelves to keep items organized, which is often an issue with these bottom-drawer freezers. The InstaView feature is worthless, but my kids love it. I really only cared about the door-in-door, which is so convenient. The Craft Ice is very fun and is a great conversation piece at gatherings. We got this to upgrade a much older version of the same fridge; it's re-design features are top notch!

Overall, we love the product. Not our first LG Fridge. We specifically sought out this exact fridge. Pros: Fits well Quiet Love the Insta-view Door-in-door design Craft ice is a neat feature but a bit of a gimmick Cons: Easily dentable Pricey, even on sale In this latest model, the water filter is in the bottom of the left door. That makes the bottom tray on the left door unusably small. In general, the left door trays are quite narrow. Not many things fit there. The Craft ice operates very slowly. Nifty feature if you have a need for a lot of very large ice cubes. I'd prefer the old style smaller cubes for the bottom ice maker.

Not worth it. When the craft ice maker works it's a great thing to, but the ice maker will only work for a couple months and then it's broke again. Within the first year owning this refrigerator I have had the repair man at my home 6 times to fix the craft ice maker. Not getting any help from anyone. The repair man from A&E said it's LG that's what happens

Disappointed for the lack door spaces for condiments.

Purchased this in the winter of 2021, of course now that its out of warranty I have had 2 issues with it. First there was a problem where the water filter started leaking and now the craft ice maker just sprays water in the ice catch bin.

I like the door access for drinks and the craft ice. I like the freezer and 2 ice makers. I wish there was more room in the left door to put butter and items like that there. The access door requires you to rethink the placement of items.

So far this refrigerator is working great and looks very good in my kitchen. Love the craft ice.
